Plumbing Helper

The plumber came and told me that the faucet is a very old model, so he was unable to find the part.  The only way to solve the problem was to plug the faucet and shower head for now.  He charged me $25 for the visit.  What a deal it was, wasn't it?  He also told me in order to solve the problem, I can call the company again and the estimate would be about $650 to replace the shower unit.  According to his plan, there will be a hole cut through the wall behind the shower faucet/head and he will not be responsible for the hole after the work.
Until today, I called my home warranty company to see if the problem can be fixed.  Their contracted plumber came and told me not only the "discontinuing" part is available (an easy task), but also the previous plumber took a part of the faucet with him during the visit.  Because of the missing part, my home warranty claim was declined and I would have to pay out of packet to fix the problem.  This whole experience has made me not trust this company any more.

Within two hours of calling, he showed up and fixed the problem and explained why and how the problem happened.  Very good experience with this company.

Prompt service and attention and efficient repair.

Josh was polite and prompt.  I had to cancel the original appointment (set for Friday).  He called Monday morning and arrived within the time he gave me.  Throughout his work he clearly explained what had to be done to fix my three small problems.  He also double checked everything and went out of his way to find a replacement faucet for my basement laundry sink.  He also gave me a 6 month guarantee on all his connections.  I felt that I definitely got my money's worth and would not hesitate to contact him again.

They are good and they are nice, so we haven’t had any problem with them. They take care of our problem every time. He did a good job, very quick. He needed a part and went and got it and came back quickly and finished the job. When we called them, we didn’t have to wait for them to come out.

Plumbing Helper was the only one that I felt was very reasonable. Other companies said that the job was too small. They were here when they said they would be and they got the job done in a timely manner and we didn’t have any problems with it.  We have had some problems with the hot water tank but that didn’t have anything to do with them.  For quality of service they were not perfect.  I don’t think there was ever a perfect job, but they did a good job.  As for punctuality, they were here exactly when they said they were going to be. They were very good about coming down and giving me an estimate and starting the work.
