Ave's Lock And Key answered my Angi's evening request the next morning at around 9AM. Avery recommended rekeying for changing 4 door locks and deadbolts. He arranged for Justin to arrive at 10AM. He explained and showed me the rekeying process and completed the work in around 2 to 2 1/2 hours. I enjoyed seeing the process and learning that it was most effective for our needs rather than buying all new locks. Avery and Justin knew immediately our needs and performed them well. I thought they were both professional regarding their work and very pleasant to talk to. I would recommend them highly to others.

He did very good work. He knows what he is doing and all that stuff but we had some problems with punctuality. He kind of got mixed up on what it was we wanted him to do. He is basically a good guy. It's not that I don't trust him or anything like that. He just got some things wrong and was late and frankly, cost more than his estimate. He knows what he is doing.

Averil arrived right on time, went straight to work - which was completed with expert precision - and cleaned up the work areas. His pleasant and friendly demeanor and professional approach was reassuring and educating. He heard my concerns and priorities, then made expert recommendations for the installations. He is an incredible locksmith who is professional, respectful, punctual and efficient. I have already hired him again to take care of a steel door entry lock request and to replace the latch on the outdoor fence etc.

He could easily have sold me parts and services I did not need but he didn't. Instead, he solved my problem in the most cost-effective manner. He fixed our locks by doing a number of adjustments to the locks and the doors. We did not have to replace the locks. They had been incorrectly installed by amateurs a year ago. His work was thoughtful and skilled. The bulk of his charge was travel time, since our house is in a remote mountain area and his opening was at rush hour. We would absolutely hire him again and recommend him.

This guy is very, very good. Very prompt, pleasant and professional. He performed the work quickly and knew what he was doing. He gave us the option of bringing him the door knobs or coming out. He was also able to fix a problem with the garage door opener while he was here. I would highly recommend him.

I contacted Avril using Angie's List and that all went fine. We established a date of service for 11/26 at 9am. However, he called me around 10:15am to report that he'd overlooked our appointment and we discussed the inclement weather. He decided on not bringing his work van out of concern for the weather (calling for 3-6 inches of snow) and instead took his truck and the needed tools. It ended up that what I needed done exceeded what he thought I needed so he had to make a trip to get the necessary parts and tools.
Throughout Avril was professional and courteous while in my home and I am pleased with the work he performed. I would definitely give him my repeat business if I have a need for it. I also like that he puts a six month guarantee on his work. He was also very responsive to my messages via AL.

We had to get our house rekeyed after moving in and Ave's was super helpful. They were able to come out on a holiday weekend when other companies gave us the run around about scheduling. He was prompt, friendly, and when some of our locks weren't working properly went the extra mile to redo the door to ensure it was good. I would definitely use their services again and recommend to a friend!

On a weekend morning, in a rush, I accidentally locked my keys inside my home while rushing to get to a birthday party. I tried all of the windows andn doors to no avail and decided to call a locksmith. Due to the weekend and being morning, I was worried that the service would be unavailable or unaffordable. Fortunately, Mr. Doyle came promptly and his fees were more than reasonable. He was very professional and courteous and I recommend him to anyone I know that is in need.

I did have to call him and remind him of the appointment, I believe it was an honest mistake. Because of that he rekeyed two additional locks for us. He did a great job and we are completely satisfied. I would recommend Ave to my friends and neighbors for locksmith work.
