A.R.S. was created to fill the gap between the large “franchise” restoration companies, who deal mostly with Insurance work, and the residential client who doesn’t have the financial resources that Insurance won’t cover. The average homeowner cannot afford to pay these rates on their own, so we step in an offer a reduced option due to our lower overhead. Large companies have franchise fees, multiple vehicles, store front offices, and contracts with Insurance companies to cover. We eliminated a lot of those “overhead” problems to deliver a more cost effective and better service. Although we did our homework in advance, another company that we contracted with failed twice in their remediation of our crawl space. Looking at a third remediation and, likely, a third failure, we were grateful that the first company realized their limitations and lack of experience in handling this type of job and contacted Bob Philipps of Applied Remediation Solutions to take over our project for them. After reading Mr. Philipps' bio on his website and talking with him in person, we were confident that the third attempt at remediation would be done correctly and successfully, according to IICRC (International Institute for Cleaning and Restoration Certification) guidelines, a non-negotiable requirement for us. Bob from Applied Remediation Solutions was very professional and informative on our initial phone call as a result of reading reviews from Angi. He was able to come to our house the next day for an inspection for which he was prompt, thorough, and offered helpful tips which we very much appreciated.
Thankfully, we did not have a mold issue, but we would certainly recommend contacting Bob from ARS if you have similar concerns.

This is the best experience I've ever had with a contractor. We were selling our home and our buyer's inspector noticed "what he thought was mold" in our basement.Our buyers were naturally upset, and asked for it to be remediated and certified. Bob from applied remediation called me within 10 minutes of my request on home advisor. He showed up 2 days later on time for the appointment we made. I showed him the inspector's report and then we inspected my basement together. He quickly determined that there was no mold present and offered to write a letter on his letterhead stating such. I received the letter the same afternoon. When I asked him what I owed him, he told me nothing. By nothing I mean $0. Who does that? I have never had a better experience with a contractor, and I strongly recommend everyone make Bob your 1st call if you have a mold problem in your home. Thank you Bob! Chuck Hague Voorhees NJ
