Technician got here and analyzed the status.  They don't fix the system that we  had.  He just happened to have all the materials to replace the spring and get the door working.
Friendly and efficient.  Would highly recommend.

(FYI - Since so much time has passed since the work was done, I have lost track of much of the detail which accounts for the brevity of this review. I have tried to complete this review several times since Dec2012, but was not successful on Angie's website. This is my 4th and final attempt.)

The work was done over the course of 2 days. Both times the repairman arrived promptly and completed the work excellently and professionally.
The springs, weights, handles and locks needed to be replaced on 2 manual garage doors. The repairman explained what he saw, what he recommended, provided options; even went so far as to explain my choices if I chose to go to an electric/automated system at a later time. As mentioned above, he completed the work at the time and in the time he stated on the estimate.
Other than the fact that the doors continue to work as perfectly as he repaired them almost 18 months ago, another detail stands out that attests to the expertise and consideration of this company. He took the time to find 2 locking handles - one for each door - that use the same key, eliminating the frustration of having to carry 2 keys and being right only 50% of the time each time we unlock a door.
Pleasant, professional, responsible. I have recommended them to 4 or 5 friends with enthusiasma and full assurance they will receive the same excellent service.

We notified the company that one of the garage door springs snapped. They sent a repairman out to look at our springs. The representative wanted to replace both springs, and we thought he was a little pushy on that, but when we insisted that only the broken spring be replaced, he agreed. He took about an hour to replace the broken spring, and he did it perfectly. We are pleased with the final result.

It was a very quick service.  The little metal cable had slipped off the round pulley wheel, so all that was necessary was to put it back in place.  I believe he might have also lubed the door rollers, but that's about it.  It only took a few minutes.  I could have easily fixed it myself had I known that was the issue...but hey, that's why he's a garage door pro and I'm not :)
He showed up on time, was professional, got it fixed right away, and handed me a bill for $100 which I paid on the spot.  Other than feeling a little stupid that I had to pay $100 for a cable that jumped off a pulley...all was fine.   He gave me a price on replacement garage door openers and a price on replacing the garage door springs as well, which I opted not to do at that time.

He was very prompt. He fixed the problem that we couldn't get fixed before. He came and gave us a quote and then did the work that he promised.

Excellent. Blue Ridge provided a timely and very competitive quote for the work and did the work on time as promised for the quoted price. They arrived promptly, kept me informed throughout their work by answering all of my questions, removed the old doors neatly without damage, and installed my new doors professionally. They completed the work in the estimated time alotment, cleaned up afterward, provided me with all manuals and tax receipts, and were nice people to deal with. All phone contacts with the company were excellent...I was never put on hold and all promised return calls were quickly made.
