They gave us an estimate and the cost was right on. Paid half up front and half when complete. They arrived early and got right to work, and cleaned up everything when they were done.

The lattice work was not installed properly and falls down every time we get a little wind. Most of the boards they used are warped. They used nails instead of screws in the boards and they keep popping out.

When we asked them to come out to look at the deck the only thing they did was to put more nails in the floor of the deck.

 He said he would talk to Bob Davis about the warped wood because he could probably work out a deal with 84 Lumber. We never heard back from anyone again.

We are not sure of the date so we are guessing it was 2003.

They followed up with me promptly at that time. The reason I wouldn't use them again is because when I tried to call them again the last time, they never returned my phone calls.

We made plans to have the work done while we were on vacation just to avoid the normal disruption that goes with construction. We covered everything in the master bath with tarps to account for whatever trash landed there. We also had planned for a third party to wire in the attic fans when we returned home.
So, the plan was that while we were out of town the crew would replace all of the shingles, any soft wood underneath, and take care of the other installations. It went flawlessly. The installation was exactly as we discussed. The job was perfect (and the roof still looks beautiful). The skylights were top of the line, and the vent fans were also of excellent quality. Even the trash in the bathroom (which we expected) was minimal; I just folded up the tarps and shook them out. I found a few nails in the yard, but really only a few; other than those, you would never have known they were here.
I really appreciated the fact that there was zero downtime for us. I was a little concerned with not being able to oversee the work, but everything was exactly as we discussed. Now, seven years later, not a single leak from the roof, the skylights, or the fans. I'm still very pleased.

Tammy called and set up the appointment to have the work done which was done on time and budget as before. The roof had been newly installed by them about a year before. The window repair was very well done after a extremely poor installation by Home View. They removed the window, replaced the rotted wood and reframed and reinstalled the window. Fit and finish was very nice.

The initial inspector came at the appointed time (actually 10 minutes early. He inspected the issue, and told me that he didn't know if he could get a crew on it that day, but would call me one way or another. We discussed options for the gutter (additional damage to the fascia board, which would require more money, so I was unsure if I could afford all of the fixes at that time). The next thing I knew, a few hours later, I here what sounds like someone on the roof. By the time I went outside, the crew said they were almost dome with the basic repair. I told them I was supposed to be called first, but since they made the repairs, I paid them for the service. I called the company to see why I hadn't received a call-back, and received voice mail. After a week of not returning my calls, I finally threatened to call the Better Business Bureau. That got their attention! I received a phone call from the company the next day. When I explained the situation, they offered to comp me the price of the gutter repair, since the fascia board was never fixed, and the repairs they made to the gutter would have to be removed to repair the fascia board. They made good on their refund, but there's no way I'm going back to that company! I tried two others from this site: one didn't return my phone call for 72 hours; the other came out for an inspection. The latter said he would and quot;fit it in with other repairs in the area to save me the initial service fee. Sounded good to me, but I haven't seen him since - even after calling several times to inquire .about a estimated return date. It's SO difficult to find contractors around here who are willing to do small home repairs!!!

It went very well. We were pleased with the estimate, with the way the job was done, and the professionalism of the crew.

Very responsive to estimate request. Provided lowest estimate. Scheduled work promptly. Did work on scheduled dates. We were very happy with the work and cleanup.

It went very well. They replaced the roof without incident. I'm not for sure, but there was another wind storm, which blew many shingles off the roof a couple months later. I called, they scheduled to come back in a couple days, in which they did, and took off all the damaged shingles, and put back new ones. There was no charge, and I've had no trouble since then.

Fairly ok. The workers didn't bring the required amt of plywood boards so had to go get some. Workers were a little arguementive, until the supervisor showed up.

The scheduling and logistics connected with the project were excellent-- manpower, materials and supplies. From Tammy in the Office to Danny, Supervisor/Project Manger, I was kept informed as to schedule and quickly informed of anything that would affect schedule. It should be noted that July weather has not disappointed-- extremely high temperature necessitated the work crews to adjust hours for early starts to try and beat the heat.

The crew is exceptional. They arrive on time as scheduled and work steadily, and definitely possess great skil. The work extremely well as a team-- respectful to each other, and get along very well with each other.
I would recommend Bob Davis Home Improvement Co, Inc. to be used by neighbors or friends. This is a go to contractor!!!!

Post Hurricane Sandy, our already troublesome roof, sprung a leak (woke me from my sleep in the middle of the night dripping inches from our bed). We made contact with Bob Davis expecting a delay due to Sandy damage, but they sent someone out two days later. their price was great and we approved the replacement of shingles in five areas of our roof. They were at our house two days later and completed the repair. So far/So good...no more leaks. Their responsiveness and the quality of their work was superb! We will call Bob Davis for future projects.

They were good. The crew came on time that they indicated they were going to come. They did the job in one day. They cleaned up after themselves, so there was no mess around.
