Window World of Fairmont

We recently had windows installed by Window World. I had some concerns and issues. Nicole worked with me to ease those concerns and issues. She has excellent communication and customer service skills. Worked and communicated on a timely basis. Kept me informed. When Nicole was out of the office, Jenna showed the same excellent skills!! Mike Pope and his son, Corey resolved our issue. Would recommend Window World to anyone looking for replacement windows and doors!! communicated with me on a timely basis. When's she was out of the office , Jenna was excellent also. Mike Pope and his son Corey were awesome resolving our issue.

I'd like to start off on a good note by saying that the installation crew was very good. They were very fast and the finished product looks amazing. The windows themselves are of good quality and the installation looks great down to the beads of caulk. There was a two man crew, one working the inside and the other the outside. They were efficient and very friendly.
The pricing seamed reasonable for the work at around 4250.00 for 11 windows of different sizes. There was 50% down at the signing of the contract and 50% paid upon the completion of the work. We got the 4000 series which were high efficiency and very good quality.
The issue that I had with the entire process was the salesman. I suppose he was a nice enough guy, but when we initially inquired about the $189 dollar installed windows (even though we were thinking about a higher end one) to see the features and compare the different models, he acted as if he had no idea what we were talking about. He also stated that the 4000 series was the only one they even sell. This seamed odd to me as their commercials specifically advertise this specific model of windows with the price. I can understand a recommendation to a higher model, but denying its existence seamed a bit odd. I didn't question him any further as we decided on the 4000 series, but if I had wanted the cheaper ones I would have been pretty disappointed and a bit angry. I gave the guy the benefit of the doubt and figured maybe I didn't get his sense of humor, but it was still a bit of a turn off to the sales staff.
A recommendation to the company would be to have more information on the website. I felt it was a bit lacking in product information, pictures, perhaps a review section from customers, etc.

They did a good job, quick, finished in one day. They cleaned up real good and were very professional.

The salesperson arrived promptly and was very pleasant. He explained everything in detail about Window World's history, their business and lastly their windows. His presentation took about 30 minutes and was very informative. Then the HIGH pressure started and never stopped. Now I don't intimidate easily, but I can see how someone like this could push someone into a purchase they couldn't afford or really didn't want. He left that day with an unsigned contract. The following week I went down to their local office to look at more window choices and told someone in the office of my experience with the salesperson. They were very apologetic and asked if I wanted someone else to come out. I said no, I just wanted to look at the windows there, which I did. Since I was impressed with the window, its warranty and its price I decided to go with this company after all. Normally the salesperson who originally calls on you comes back to do the measuring. I did not want that, so they sent the two men who were actually going to be installing my windows, and that made me feel much better. That went fine. The windows naturally were special orders, so it took a week or two for them to come in. The woman in the office with whom I was dealing was very helpful in getting the windows to me in a timely manner as I had my contractor waiting on them to be installed before he could install my siding. The window installation went easily. The two men did a good job. One worked on the inside and one on the outside. They were quick and efficient. I've had no problems with the windows, and I'm quite pleased with them.
PS - Half the money down when you sign the contract and the other half is payable when the work is completed.

Installers were pleasant to deal with and it was very obvious that they knew exactly how to do the job. I am very pleased with the results of their labor and their product.

Everything went great. They did everything they said they would do. They came twice and double checked to make sure everything was measured correctly. They are very courteous people. The sales presentation wasn't boring. I was impressed with the quality of the product before I even bought it. I couldn't afford the upgraded product and there was no pressure to try an finance that over time. I paid half upfront and when the project was finished I paid the second half. They didn't even cash the first check until 3 or 4 weeks after I gave it to them (because the windows are custom made) and that impressed me.

We ordered the windows in early December 2009 and paid half down as a deposit. They phoned to make the appointment to install the windows but I had just had surgery so we declined. Two weeks later, we phoned them and they scheduled us for the very next day. The crew of two arrived 15 min early. They were very professional and polite. They worked straight thru the day and did not even stop for lunch. By 3 in the afternoon, they were done and had cleaned up every speck. A nice, professional job which much improved the exterior and interior looks of our home. Would highly recommend this company.
