Although it took quite a bit longer than was projected, I love my kitchen. The employees were always punctual and did good work. I think I would have liked some changes, and most could not be accommodated. They could use more options and ideas by the person who is doing the initial projection. Otherwise a good experience.

Most definitely the worst craftsmanship I've ever seen anyone charge money for. They did a kitchen, dining room, living room floor job for my parents. Everything about the job looks like it was done by amatures, from the measuring of and sourcing of materials, to the absolutely terrible tile and finish carpentry work. The countertop on the island was sized to overhang the base cabinets under it, but they neglected to take into consideration the depth of the doors on the cabinet, so they stick out further than the countertop overhang. Minor visual detail I guess, but it drives me crazy. Sometime during their install, they chipped out a piece of laminate on the edge banding and either decided not to say anything about it or just didn't notice due to their lack of attention to detail. The sink base cabinet was installed 1/4" off level. There are 3 water supply lines and a waste line that run through the bottom of the cabinet, but there are 8 holes in the bottom of the cabinet because they mis-measured by about 4 inches on their first try. When the sink area countertop arrived, the cutout for the sink was in the wrong place due to an error in site measurements so it needed to be sent back and remade, delaying completion of the project by a week. During install, they chipped out a piece of laminate again on the edge banding. This was much more noticable than the island so they had to say something about it. Rather than rebanding the edge, they glued the chip back in. There is major lippage on the tile on the backsplash (some of the edges of the tiles stick out further than the tiles they are next to), alignment is not great, and they left the cut edge where it meets the bottom of the cabinets unfinished so the uneven gaps are visable when sitting at the table. Should have been finished off by taping and caulking the seam or with a piece of quarter-round trim. However, after seeing how they butchered up trim pieces in other parts of the kitchen I understand why they avoided it here. The flooring that they did in the kitchen, dining room, and living room looks ok on the main field area of the floor, but everywhere it meets up with a door frame or furnace register, someplace where it would take a skilled craftsman to make a precision cut, it looks like it was done by an amature. Stay FAR Away from This Conteactor!

"We want every job to be the best it can possibly be. When there are problems or work not to the customers satisfaction, we will always go back. We were never notified of problems on this job. A door had come in damaged and we went back out the next week to install it and were not asked to do anything else. If we were notified of problems and did not go back or failed a second time to correct anything that would be one thing, but I would ask any customer to call first before writing a bad review."

"This job was done in September, 2010. The job included all new granite countertops, new undermount stainless steel sink and faucet. The lazy susan was repaired, the glass in the wall cabinets was replaced and the existing base and wall cabinets were cleaned and polished. We added one new base cabinet to the island and refaced the existing cabinet. In 2011 the veneer cracked on the end of the island and we replaced it. In 2013 the customer called back and said the veneer was cracked again. The warranty was up on the product, but we agreed to replace the veneer. When the installers cut the veneer it was 1/4" from the floor. You needed to get to floor level to see it. The customer wanted it replaced again, but since it was out of warranty, we were unable to replace it a third time."

Kitchen and Bath was pretty bad! It started in April of 2013 and they never completed the project until April of this year. They kept doing things wrong and making mistakes that they would have to come back and repair. They really don't know what they are doing. We paid them sixteen thousand dollars to have our bathroom remodeled. The quality of the materials was good, we picked those out but the quality of their workmanship was not good. I would not use them in the future.

"The contract for this job was signed February 21, 2013 and the job was completed April 29, 2013. The customer called with a few concerns which we promptly went back and corrected. The customer sent us a note which we have in our file saying "Everybody's Happy--Thank you so much!!". The customer then hired us to do work in a second bathroom. One of the jobs was to change the valve in the tub. There was no access panel and no room to install one. To change the valve we needed to open up the fiberglass tub wall and then repair the whole. Since this was not on the contract we stopped work to wait for the customer to decide if they wanted to do this additional work. They asked us to do the work, but every time we tried to schedule the job they were either going to be out of town or a family member was ill. It was not until this spring that we finally were able to get into the second bathroom and complete the job. They did ask us while we were there to recaulk around the top of the window in the original bathroom."

I was so pleased with the work k&b provided me on work for my remodeled bathroom. Work was done quick and efficiently and cost was within our budgeted amount. I would recommend to everyone.

The fit of the new liner fits very well. The installer did not do a good job for numerous reasons:
1. Scraped the ceiling (newly painted) in the bathroom with the surround while installing
2. Scraped the wall (newly painted) with the surround (or shower doors, not sure which) and not only took the paint off but gouged the wall pretty deeply.
3. Very poor job of caulking all the way around. Some areas of the surround didn't even have the caulking on it
4. Cut the floor in front of the tub in order to place the surround in and cut it too big
5. Didn't complete trim work and I was told when I questioned it, "That's the way it looks."
6. Ordered brushed nickel finish on fixtures and the faucet was chrome while the rest was brushed nickel. He said he didn't even notice that until I pointed it out. They did correct this.
I called and spoke with the owner, he came out, looked at the work and agreed it was not done properly so the installer returned and made most of the corrections. Still have the hole in the floor.
I wanted to keep it local and it was less expensive than the other "Fitters" but overall not a good job for the price.

"I am sad to hear that her experience was not great. When the one piece liner came in it was a very tight squeeze and the nick in the drywall was fixed promptly. With any job there is a possibility for a mishap, but we take care of any mistakes promptly. The caulking was replaced on the last day of the job, and the trim piece she is talking about was tricky, because her old trim did not match the new tub and she did not want to purchase more trim. There was a delay on the brushed nickel valves and did not want the to customer to go without any valves so we substituted. Sometimes things can take longer than expected on the vendor side of things. I know we came out and corrected any other mistakes and customer was happy. The price of her Liner came to $4245.00 which is much lower than the other "fitters." We have been installing Liners for over 8 years and take pride in our work."

They were very professional. We were very pleased. They were very friendly. I like to do business locally, and they are a local company.
