Terrific! Allan was in the area and was at my house in under 30 minutes. He was so thorough that I am very comfortable knowing that all my gas appliances are in perfect condition. Love him and the dispatcher whose name I don’t recall but she was terrific too because she got him here!!

On 1/26, the technician came back to install the part to fix the problem I had in my furnace when the technician did the tune up. The appointment was supposed to be at 8am on this day and I was assured I would be the first appointment since I needed to get to work right after the appointment. I waited until 8:30am and called the business. They said he was running a few min late. I waited until 9am then called again; this time I was told he was on the phone with other customers. I asked when he would show up as I was told the appointment was at 8am and I would be the first. They put me online with the technician and he said he was busy with phone calls to other customers and he said he would be at my house in a few min. He didn't show up until almost 9:30am. An hour and a half after the original appointment time.
The work was done well but the whole late thing was very irritating and very unprofessional. I won't be scheduling any appointments with them unless I have the whole day open next time.

Mike came out and did very good job. He knew what was wrong and was able to tell me that another provider gave me the wrong information and was going to give me a wrong part. Mike was very nice, knowledgeable, and friendly. He was able to fix the problem right way. My house is so warm and toasty. He didn't even charge me full price because we got to talking. He crawled under my house and checked to make sure everything was right. You can tell he really enjoys his job. Heat pumps do work when the weather is in single digits in northern states as long as you have the right technician. He was a wonderful technician. He knew what he was doing. No hesitation of doing anything, he did exactly what he needed to do. This was the first time that my heat pump was working in single digit weather within several years.

I advise all Angie's List members to avoid the so-called "deals" they keep pressuring us to buy.
Hendershot Heating and Cooling is not a bad company, but after paying Angie's List for the "deal" I called the company. Their schedule was so busy that it was nearly a month before they could come to my house.
The company should not have continued offering a special deal when they were too busy to schedule the service customers had already paid for. I was left with a poor opinion of Angie's List and this company, which is probably not fair, but a circumstance of this so called "deal."
When I needed my furnace repaired last month, I used a different company. They charged only a few dollars more than I paid for Angie's List's AC service deal and the technician spent far more time on the job.

The first time was good but within a couple of days our fan which they came out to repair started making a huge noise.  So we turned off the air conditioner and called them to come back out and they had not come for week.  When they finally came back, they were able to fix the problem.  

There were additional charges apart form the cost of the big deal.  They should have come back right away when we called them.

On-time, polite, friendly, efficient.  Told me exactly what he was going to do, then showed me his work.  Awesome!

All this service provider did was doing a visual inspection and he tried to check the gas pressure which he said was little high, but he couldn’t adjust it because he wasn’t familiar with my furnace. They didn’t offer to fix it, reach out to me, or even bother to ask how services went. They told me to call Angie’s List to get a refund.
