KEN'S AUTO SVC

 Did a very good job and kept us informed on events not covered when vehicle was left for servicing.

We dropped my wife's car off to Ken on our way to out of town for our honeymoon. The price actually came in a bit lower. He called to let us know how things were going. When we got back it was like a new car. The busted rear struts, replaced. Belt wasn't squeeling anymore. To me it seemed like it even had a little more power. They even stayed open a little later than normal so we could get the car. We will use them again for routine maintenance and hopefully the car won't need the amount of TLC it did the first time we went to Kens

This is actually a review on two separate service visits, one in the fall of 2012 and the second occurring February 1, 2013. The first visit was to install a new catalytic converter and the second was for the installation of new front brakes and rotors. The installation of the catalytic converted cost approximately $500 and the brake job cost $450. I consider each bill to be very fair for the services provided. Actually, the catalytic converter cost was significantly less expensive than what the dealership quoted (and gt;$1,000), though the dealership was quoting Hyundia parts and Ken's provided an OEM part. Considering the age and mileage on the vehicle, I considered an appropriate alternative.
From a service perspective, Ken's provided excellent service in a very timely fashion. There have been no problems with either service. The owner and staff are friendly and courteous.
Please note that Ken's is a classic old-time style auto repair shop. The building is very small and the office and waiting area are tiny and covered with all sorts of pictures, notes, calendars, postcards and a variety of other stuff. To me, I find this a classic example of a down home business.
I highly recommend Ken's Auto Service.

Took to them and they did inspection of breaks and determined it needed new rotors and breaks (car has 140,000 miles on it). They did it in a day. We were very happy. They even phoned a few days later to make sure everything was working well. You don't see that to often now days. I have used them for years and have always been happy.
