Dr. Snider assumed care of three cats, two 12 years old and 1 19 years old. She read their history (which I brought from our former veterinarian) to look for issues that she would need to deal with and found some patterns our old Doctor had not found. Upon losing our oldest cat, we adopted a litter of 4 kittens, one having a broken leg before we brought him home. Dr. Snider worked with him weekly to ensure he healed properly. After that, she worked with us to make sure all of the needs of the kittens were met, including neutering and shots. It had been a long time since we'd had kittens and Dr. Snider was very good to re-educate us.
Since adopting the kittens, Dr. Snider has helped us through various illnesses/issues that have affected the cats, ranging from runny poo to feline aggression. She is open to getting opinions from other veterinarians when she feels she's exhausted her resources. In fact, she communicated with our former veterinarian on our 19 year old cat's health issues on the first day we had an appointment. We proactively work with Dr. Snider to keep our cats healthy by adhering to her recommended check up schedule and preventative treatments.

The hospital is always neat and clean and the staff is excellent and just as caring as the Doctor. I will not go anywhere else to have my cat family treated.

We just moved here from NC. I needed to take my 2 small dogs for a check-up. I googled vets in the area and decided to give Kanawha City Vet a chance. All of the staff is so friendly, and Dr. Snider truly cares about the animals. I did find their services a little on the pricey side, but overall I had a good experience with them.
