Sometimes it takes a few phone calls to schedule their service, but once you make contact, they are pretty prompt.  They do excellent work, so I think it's worth the wait.

The antique piece is in much better condition now -- glued soundly so that it is stable and usable. The sanding job that they did was excellent. What I appreciate especially was that once they knew exactly what I wanted to have done with the piece I'd brought for an estimate, they were entirely up front about the cost of the job. I didn't get any and quot;surprisesand quot; upon completion of the work. The work was very well done; and all communication was professional and punctual. Because they are usually very busy in another part of the shop away from their main phone, I'd recommend that you visit them first and get an estimate at the outset. If possible, take the furniture piece or a picture of it and its measurements with you. Don't look for a shop sign. They are located right on the street.

I called and left a message, in a few days my call was returned and someone came and gave me an estimate. We scheduled the work and the men came back, picked up the rockers and refinished them. They were completed to our satisfaction. The couch was repaired on site. We thought it was ok, but the first time we moved it the leg broke again. I called several times and left messages concerning the problem, but no one ever called me back so I gave up. We were very satisfied with the chairs, but disappointed when they did not stand behind their work on the couch

I called Furniture Clinic and asked about their services. I was told they would call me back in a few days and come up to give me an estimate. They called back in a few days as promised. The men came checked out the furniture and gave me an estimate. They told me they would come back and get the rockers when they were finished with their current job, which was about a week. They picked up the rockers and brought them back within a week and fixed my coach leg at the same time. We were very pleased with the rockers. The workmen were punctual and polite.

He was great to talk to but I'm not begging anybody to do work for me. Evidentially they don't care. I had a good experience on the phone but there was no follow-through. I could have called him back but I was not going to beg.
