FORREN SOIL

At first we were very happy with Tim Forren, the owner of Forren Soil. Appeared to be a really nice guy, seemed trustworthy and seemed extremely knowledgeable. He gave us suggestions of things to plant in our yard and his crew did do the planting. We asked him to come back and do a few other things, give us prices to remove and replace a row of 20 trees behind our house, add more perennials and help us landscape a front patio area. He never came through on any of those things even though he kept telling us he would get in touch with us. We had also been told multiple times that we did not need to call to arrange routine maintenance of the things they had planted, that the crew would just stop by as needed. This NEVER happened. We called, emailed, texted, called, emailed, texted and called, emailed and texted. Over and over. Months went by and we continued to try and reach him. Yet he would never reply to any of our attempts. Some of our plants died but he would not replace them even though our contract stated that there was a one year warranty on plants. Though we thought we had found just the guy that we were looking for, he had us fooled. We were polite, respectful and friendly and gave him every opportunity to fulfill what he had told us he would do. Apparently after he had our money, (and he was quite expensive), he was done with us. We would NEVER recommend him to anybody.

I couldn't be happier. I had a little difficulty getting on the schedule initially, but once I were booked, things went great. The crew was polite and professional. They cleaned up the job site each day and hauled away a lot of clippings and other debris. The pruning was especially important to me as some of the plantings were well established but poorly tended. I didn't want some and quot;hackand quot; to come in and lop off limbs indiscriminately (I could have done that), and Forren Soil exceeded my expectations. Not only were the plants groomed, but I got some education about their ongoing maintenance.
Tim and company were very easy to work with once we got started, and they treated my house and property as it was their own. If you want the best in professional landscaping, this is it. They were definitely worth the wait.

I was very pleased with their service. If the need ever arose, I would use them again.
