i've submitted a review previously, and this is an update. After a few months the filling he put between the cracks in our old floors began to move up to the surface. I've tried to call and/or email him for 7 months. I have never gotten a callback or a response to the emails. I think for this reason i would not hire him again. I feel people should stand behind their work and return calls to prior customers.

Initial contact took a few days, but after we scheduled it went well. They were very professional and we felt comfortable leaving them unattended in our home. They thoroughly explained the process and it went exactly as they said.

.They had a dust recovery system and very little dust escaped into our house.
We had them use a hardening European oil finish thats more durable than poly... (Rubio Monocoat)
They turned out beautiful by the way.

I have to update these folks as far as responsiveness and professionalism goes.

I called them back this year to have them measure two more rooms for the removal of carpet and installation of hardwood floors.

Ben stopped by and measured, had some great Ideas..............and that was about three months ago.

I have called, texted and emailed with no reply. That is NO way to run a business.



I have asked on his their Facebook page for them to contact me, they didnt and deleted my request.

It was not a negative comment, it was simply, I wish you would call me.



I have no idea why someone that does such good work would do a customer
this way, he was paid in full for the previous work, and I have the
checks to prove it. I guess they are doing so well they could afford to
throw away a several thousand dollar job.



But I no longer care how good their work is because if you cant get them
to return calls, email and such and schedule a job, the quality is a
moot point.



Im still happy with the work they did previously, but I will most
definitely use someone else for all my future flooring needs, these
guys are off my list.

Ben, and James with Charleston Hardwood did a most fantastic job on our floors.
They have a dustless sanding system that recovers all sanding dust from the process so its not thown all over the house and needing to be cleaned up later from EVERYTHING... The system they used left ZERO dust on anything.They applied the finish and buffed it out to a fantastic look and feel.
We picked the Rubio Monocoat European Hardening wax Oil for its appearance and duribility and its ability to be repaired in spots if need be, something very difficult to do with the typical poly, howerver they do poly as well.
Also 36 hours after the finish was applied we were able to move our furniture back into the rooms, another advantage the finish we selected has over poly.
