Mike climbed up to see the problem and give me an estimate. He quickly found the problem and offered to fix it right then. He gathered the needed supplies from his truck and repaired my roof right then. I had multiple nails loose and some caulk needed done along the ridge. He looked thoroughly to make sure all problem areas were addressed and corrected.

I contacted provider at the end of one week, and he was able to come out the next week, look at the roof, and give me an estimate. I thought the estimate was very reasonable and asked him to go ahead. He performed the work the next week.
It ended up being a little more expensive than the estimate, because my roof had two layers of sheeting. When the provider pointed out the extra layer, I remembered that the previous homeowner had told me that when I was originally looking at the house -- I just didn't recall it and so didn't mention it to the provider when he was preparing his estimate.
I hasn't rained since the repairs, but the provider told me to call if there were any issues and he would return.
I found the provider to be professional, prompt, and was able to communicate well what needed to be done.

I called him at 8am and he was at my house by 11:45am even though there was a storm blowing in when i told him there was water dripping into my bed from the celling he pulled out his latter and went to work. He did all work discribed in 40 min and we very good about cleaning up as well. As soon as he put his latter back on his van it started pouring the rain. He asked me to call him and let him know if he had fixed all the problems next time it rained. I had to wait because and i failed to mention THIS WAS ALL DONE ON MY LUNCH HOUR ON A WORK DAY!!!! It rained after i got home. There was still a small leak on the side of the roof he had not word on due to time limitation due to the storm coming in. I called him back and he said he would come back and fix it before i even asked! I nor any reasonable person could expect more from a company that what blackhawk provided me in this experiance. I plan to use them for my other properties and would HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS COMPANY.

Wonderful service! Got to work immediately, the soffit looks great, and we have had no more leaks even in heavy rain. Mike even called after the next rain storm to ask how the roof did. Thank you!

He was very professional. Not only did he find the problem, he fixed it and looked at the rest of the roof for any other leaks. We had a heavy rainstorm yesterday and no water coming in the house. Very pleased with what he did and will recommend him to others and will call him again if we need him. The cost he charged was very reasonable for what he did.

Mike responded quickly to my requested, and the services was completed as soon as the snow melted from our roof. No more leaks!

Weather has been bad and work had to be delayed.  I contacted Blackhawk on  a sunny day and he came that day.  He checked the roof, went up into the attic and checked specific troubled areas and applied some sealant to several spots in living areas.  Advised us of some corrective measures we need to check into.

It went quite well, only a small repair.    He was very congenial.   Only placed caulking on the problem at this time, will return if that does not do the trick.  He was kind enough to replace a piece of vinyl siding that had been blown off by wind.

If your roof leaks do yourself a favor and call Blackhawk Roofing. My mother has a three year old roof that has given her nothing but problems. The company that installed it came back numerous times to fix it but it still leaked. She gave up on the first company and called a second company. They repaired it but it took three call backs. Finally the company told her she needed a new roof for $12,000. She called a third company, he said she needed to replace only one part of the roof--for $3000. With so many different stories, I called Mike Blackledge. He went to her house on a Sunday and repaired the roof. He agreed that the roof was not installed correctly but he did not think it will leak, nor did he think it should be replaced. He gave her his card and told her to call him if she had any problems at any time. The charge? $150. He literally saved her thousands. I got his name from Angie's list and the reviews were correct. He is awesome!

Came out next day completed all repairs needed quickly and was friendly and helpful.

The roofers came when they were scheduled and were very polite and courteous. They were able to repair my roof and were very reasonable in price

He made the repair the same day I called.  I haven't had any issues since.

I called on Tuesday and requested that someone come out and check my roof because I have a wet stain on my bedroom ceiling.  He said if he didn't get out that day he would come Wed.  He called Wed. afternoon and said he would be here in an hour.  A little while later he called and said he was having car trouble and would be longer getting here.  He called a third time and said he was on the way.  He came in and  talked to my husband a little while about the problem then got right to work.  He took a picture of the problem and showed us.  He fixed the roof in record time.  He was very polite and knowledge about roofing.  I will certainly call him again if we have any future problems.  I was really appreciative of him calling to keep me posted on what was going on and that he came so quickly.  In the past I have called other roofers who made appointments but never called or came.

Another roofer told me that I need to replace my roof due to hail damage; USAA adjuster told me "no, you just need some minor repairs." Called Blackhawk, and was told that I didn't need a new roof, I just needed a couple of repairs - similar to recommendations made by USAA adjuster.  Blackhawk saved me $14,000.

Mike's roof /gutter work is outstanding, and he is an extremely hard worker.  He knows what he is doing and completes the project with perfection.
