They showed up on time, were very courteous and quick. They had to use over 100 ft of hose to reach tank. I located the tank and dug up the tank access ahead of time to save some money. They pumped out and the inspected the condition and discussed it with me. The estimate was correct and no surprises.

We were overdue to have the tank pumped (http://www.nesc.wvu.edu/subpages/septic.cfm) -- 15-years -- but no serious problems were evident. Dodson was booked a week+ out from my initial call and showed up on time for the appointment. His crew located the tank (previous inspection reports were cryptic on location) promptly, hooked up and emptied it in good order. Where a minor spill occurred (plug removed from hose) the area was shoveled clean. WVU and most health departments recommend annual pumping but with two of us in a 4-bedroom house on a 1,000 gallon tank he said we would be good every 3-5 years. I just calendared the next cleaning for two years so we do not damage the leach field.

He tried to clean the line, but was not able to. Seems the pipe had collapsed. He was not able to resolve my problem and I had to dig up the line, but he was very helpful and really tried to get it at least somewhat functional.

The guys that came out were wonderful. With their help - in fact, they came twice because the first time they could not find the cap and did not charge me. The second time - they located the cap and did a wonderful job. I can see why the reputation is very outstanding.
