Always make sure someone has insurance and experience. We Do! Window cleaning: When we clean the windows at your home. We always wipe window seals, clean all trim around the windows, clean the edges and polish to hey beautiful shine. All of these things should never be extra charges they are a part of a window cleaners job. Gutter cleaning and whitening: We do not leave a mess when we clean gutters. Everything goes with us. We remove all debris from your property free of charge after cleaning your gutters. We use a vacuum system that is safe and effective in cleaning the gutters. This process is better than having leaves and debris blown out all over your house with blowers or power washers. Then to whiten the gutters we use a process that removes the stains and crime that most cannot remove. Roof Cleaning: we use a soft wash process that does not damage your shingles and kills all organic growth including molds, algae, lichen removing all black streaks in the process. A few more jobs we can do for you: Power wash driveways, ceramic tile and grout on floors and walls. We are family owned business with over 29 years of experience. Gutter guards work in heavy rain, but perhaps not as well. The main purpose of gutter guards is to protect your gutters from getting clogged with debris, which can be carried (or worsened) by heavy rain. However, a clogged gutter isn’t the only reason rain isn’t traveling through your gutter properly. Other reasons include roof shingles extending past your gutters, improperly installed gutters, or incorrect gutter sizes. 

If you suspect you have any of these other gutter issues, it may be more cost-effective to repair your gutters first and see if that solves the problem before investing in gutter guards.

Gutter guards are worth it if you have a lot of high trees near your home, and your gutters tend to collect a lot of leaves and debris. They can protect your gutter system against damage and save you trouble and money on gutter cleaning costs. There are many types of leaf guards, and it’s worth researching what kind is best for the type of debris and foliage your gutters collect.

It's safe to hang Christmas lights from gutters with a few considerations. First, when installing the lights, follow safe ladder-use guidelines and avoid getting onto the roof. Second, for best results and the integrity of your lights, use clips to keep the bulbs away from inside the gutters where they could run into trouble with water or ice. 

There are five main types of gutter hangers, and all offer different benefits. Spikes and ferrules aren’t as durable as brackets and straps and wrap-around hangers, but they aren’t as expensive and will get the job done. Worried more about curb appeal than gutter strength? T-bar or T-strap and hidden hangers will keep these important gutter elements out of sight.

If you’re not interested in digging up your yard, but you still need to direct water away from your house, another option is to extend your downspouts further out into the yard. Two methods to do this are:

  • Adding a splashguard. This is the simplest method. You can purchase a splashguard at your local hardware store and place it under your downspout. This will act as a funnel to direct water away from your house.

  • Add downspout extension at the end. You can also add an additional downspout to the end of the “elbow” as a way to extend the water further out into your yard. Some hardware stores sell downspouts with a flexible extension that you can maneuver around your yard.

The above alternatives are great options if your gutters are above a slab foundation that you wouldn’t want to dig up. One downside to these methods is if your yard slopes back upwards to your home, then the water won’t actually flow away. In which case, burying your downspouts if the best option to avoid flooding and water damage to your home.
