Home Building
Do Not Use This Contractor. The contractor did not properly prepare and lay the stone. They did not put any flashing down and there were large gaps between some of the stone. Needless to say, we had terrible leaks. We called the contractor several times and finally they just told us it was not their work but that our foundation had shifted. This was nonsense because, it was a faux fireplace (just a box sitting on the roof, covered in stone). Anyway, we had to pay another contractor to take the stone off, properly flash the box, and then replace the stone. We have had no leaks since the new contractor fixed the bad work done by Casto.
