First this company exhausted all connections to purchase a new replacement part that is out of production. Then they looked for a used part. When that failed they found a custom fabricator to build the part. After comparing the cost to repair an old generator with a custom built part to the cost of a new and higher output generator, I went with new. I live on a mountaintop, the last house on the circuit. There was a bad storm on the horizon, and the owner Rusty Crites showed up 2-days early and installed the new unit in a snowstorm with 15 MPH winds and a below zero windchill just to make sure we were protected. The weather was so bad his crane froze in an extended position, and his propane radiant heater repeatedly blew out in the wind, yet he and his co-worker stayed until the job was finished and we were protected. I have been using this contractor for 10 years, both as a residential and commercial customer. He is proud of his reputation and stands by his work. As it is with all great contractors, there may occasionally be a few days wait before he can fit you in the schedule, but you won't regret it.

Contractor came in the middle of the night in a -25 below wind chill and attempt to start backup generator that would not start. The problem was low natural gas line-pressure which was not his responsibility. I have used this contractor since 2005 and have never been disappointed once you understand how busy he is, and how hard it is to get good help in this area.

Called several weeks prior to the service call; technician stopped by, but installation was delayed because I was out of town for three weeks.

We had a whole house generator installed. They came and did estimate and said it would be approximately 8 - 12 weeks. It was installed 12/11/2013 which was 9 weeks. The young men that did the installation were very conscientious courteous and did a fine job. They actually knew what they were doing, which was wonderful. We were extremely pleased. Now when the power goes, we will be comfortable and happy.

They charged $100 + parts, which was $150 all together. The fellow who got here was very good. He was good and talked through us as he did things that we knew what he was doing. He was making sure that he was doing the right thing. We asked him for an additional work and he said it would take 3-4 months. He was here when he said he was going to be here.
