He was able to provide multiple designs (roof/no roof) and was able to handle multiple complications from the material supplier without issue. Deck was still completed in two weeks. Very detail oriented and has a lot of experience.

My wife hired HRUBIK Construction for two projects. The first was to relocate and rebuild a 17 step staircase into our basement and the second was to remodel our on-suite bathroom. The bathroom remodel included demo of original bathroom, relocating plumbing, electrical and lighting, as well as installing an extra large solid surface shower, glass shower door, free-standing tub, new double vanity and toilet. He also installed in-floor heating and a new tile floor. It also involved closing up one doorway and installing another for better flow. We would recommend John for several reasons: Most importantly, once he began our project, it was his top priority until it was complete. He was here every day unless his subcontractorâ s schedule made it impossible. 2. He is very knowledgeable and skilled and is a bit of a perfectionist at that. 4. My wife found John very easy to talk to, and he always listened to her questions, concerns and suggestions. 5. SheI felt completely comfortable leaving John and his team in our home if she had to be out. 6. John was great to keep the construction debris cleaned up and hauled off throughout the weeks of work. And finally, we are very happy with the way both projects turned out. And although we donâ t anticipate any problems because of his care and attention to details, he assured us that he would correct any future problems that were the direct result of his construction. If you are looking for a honest builder with integrity, who takes pride in the work he does, then I think you would be happy with John HRUBIK.

John was extremely professional but also very personable. We chose Hrubik because out of all the contractors we were looking at he was confident and straightforward. We had a contractor quit at the beginning of the job. Hrubik was able to swoop in and pick up the pieces for us. We are very grateful for the hard work and our deck looks amazing.

John was very professional in helping us plan our sunroom. He was easy to work with and was very attentive to our wants and needs. This renovation was a lot of different tasks in a large basement apartment that had been water damaged. Mr Hrubik showed up on time for the estimate, gave me an accurate written estimate, began the job when he said he would and completed ahead of my expectation. The work is wonderful, better than I thought it could ever be. He is professional, works fast, and pays attention to even the tiniest detail. He does things the "right way, the first time. You can't go wrong if you hire him.

John & his employees were attentive to our needs, offered helpful ideas to finalize plans and completed the work in a timely and efficient manner. And they were very conscious of demolition "dust" and potential damage to our hardwood floors. They were careful to shield other household areas and were always sweeping up/cleaning up to manage the debris generation really well. I would hire them back in a heartbeat! In fact, I asked him back for the Springtime when I move on to phase 2 myself!

We needed minor repair work done around a door and in Bridgeport WV, good luck finding someone to do the work. We found Hrubik Construction and they responded fast, kept their word, charged a reasonable rate, did the work as promised and were professional. Given a recent disastrous experience with another contractor, finding Hrubik was a breath of fresh air. John will always be the first person I call when I want to do a renovation or have a project that he would have expertise in doing.

I found a rotted section of my front porch roof. i sent an email out to him via home advisor and got a phone call within hours. he came up and did a free estimate that day. then came in the next day and did all the work. he was quick, very nice, professional, thorough, and reasonable. i will definitely call him the next time we need anyconstruction work.

John is extremely professional. He is fast, thorough, and always follows through. He needed to replace some rotten siding on my house -- a difficult job because of how irregular the rotted parts were. He also had great workers who ended up painting the replaced areas. I would hire John again, should I need anything else finished. I am so glad to have found -- finally -- not only someone who is willing to work on my house, but also someone I can trust absolutely. The Workmanship and Detail were very key to my deck and the deck resulted EXACTLY what I envisioned; a BEAUTIFUL extension on my home. I live on a golf course, and many golfers have stopped their game to compliment my deck. John was present every day, and the crew was polite. Clean-up at the end of each day left me at ease with no real mess. I feel I found the GEM in the Contractor haystack and I will call John back for other improvements to my home!

The deck was done in a professional manner, with in the time restraints that I had. when I found two places that the Nail gun had missed their marks John sent somone out the same day to fix the nail and to renail.
