Scott Merki, the owner of Cool Breeze, quoted a furnace replacement for me in March 2024. He took a $3000 deposit, and delivered a furnace. At this time, he has abandoned the project and left me with no heat, no means of completing the project, and refuses to give me the paperwork for the order. He ignores texts, and will literally hang up on you if his excuses aren't acceptable. In months of trying to reach him, i recieved TWO text responses. One saying that a family member had passed away, which I understand but does not justify the 6 month time frame. The second effectively telling me I couldn't have the order information, which other companies want prior to taking over the project. Scott scammed me out of $3000, and refuses to complete or refund the project. I'm currently speaking with the BBB about options, but it looks like legal action is going to be the only thing the Mayor of Bath, WV will respond to.

Scott is a top-notch professional. It took a while to get him out to see us, but that's because he's so in demand! He's friendly, honest, and does an awesome job! Our oil furnace was broken, and he was able to fix it for around $50. This was the second time we've called on him, and both times me made the needed repairs and that was all. He didn't try to tell us we needed a new one, or to charge us for repairs we didn't need; he just replaced a part and went on his way. I couldn't say enough good things about this company!
