Berkeley Springs Cabin Rentals

Wanted to take a short quiet retreat for husbands 60th birthday and take 9 year old grand child. this resort area is less than an hour from home. BSCR is a Realtor/agent that facilitates rentals owned privately, so each of the 90 properties in their inventory is unique as far as location, decor and amenities. I found their web page very useful in selecting a property based on locale, activities in resort location or community. We selected a well decorated cabin with modern features such as satellite TV and Central AC but also in a quiet cabin community (about 3 miles from wonderful Cacapon State Park). There were decks and patios and screened porches, a grill, fire ring and chimenia and comfortable Adirondack chairs for outdoors comfort and cooking on gas grill. # bedrooms, stocked with board games and books, fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms, a wonderful 2 person Jacuzzi tub with gas fireplace in Master bedroom. The ONLY disappointment was the hard well water, when Jacuzzi was filled water smelled like sulfur and was yellow. Unappealing. Tons of cozy linens and towels, rockers..well decorated! Lovely. Registration and payment done online easily. Realtor offered much info on local shops, what to do, where to go. We picked a non-pet unit, but they have many available where furries are welcome. Seemed a bit pricey at $170 per night, but felt every need was met.
