Hired B & E Asphalt to pave my driveway in Adams County. Initially they were very responsive but when it came time to complete the work my experience was much different. The quality of the work is poor and not indictative of an experienced company who has been in business for 48 years. I've had people unfamiliar with paving work comment on how bad my driveway looks after only 2 weeks. The finished product looks like a base coat of asphalt (binder) and does not have the finished look of a top coat (surface) of asphalt. There are roller marks throughout the finished driveway which is indictative of an inexperienced roller operator or someone who just doesn't care about the the finished product. Paving my driveway represented a signficiant investment and I regret my decision to use B & E Asphalt. I recommend anyone that is considering B & E for paving work to review some of their recent projects and to ask for and check references.

Outstanding customer service from first phone call to finished product. Pricing was fair, very comparable to the other companies I reached out to. Great group of workers, friendly, hardworking and paid close attention to details. They ensured I was fully satisfied with the job before they left. Their work was nothing short of exceptional and their great customer service set them apart from the other companies.

Had rain day after paving. left a large puddle of water. Was not sloped properly. Called 3 times, and said he would stop by, but never showed up.

Only company I know of that uses an oil base product.. I expect it will outlast any of the previous water based products. Very professional and personable.

Bob and his crew were very professional, and I’m very pleased with my new driveway. They were very respectful of my lawn and left everything in good order. They paid close attention to the areas where the asphalt joined my existing concrete and stone planter.

The owner explained what they were doing during coating, and gave advice as needed to make sure the driveway lasts
