Terrible. We scheduled three appointments. In each case, my wife took vacation days to be present to give him access to the basement. In each of the three cases, he cancelled either last minute or simply did not show up. He would not answer his phone when we made attempts to contact him on teh ays he dd not show. On one occassion when we did reach him, he reported that he had an emergency call from an elederly client who's A/C had failed and he could not be here. A local reported seeing him at the marina all day with a former employer (charter fishing captain). The work was to be done in 2011. We hired another contractor to complete the work. We have since been trying to get our blueprint back. He continually promises to return it, but he never does. My wife lost two vacation days as a result and the money we paid him was more than he had asked, and ultimately was to be applied to the work. The balance was never refunded. This does not account for all the unproductive phone calls and discussions with him. I have spoken with at least one other local client who had very similar experiences with him. He has been granted a franchise for Carrier in the Marshfield area. Hopefully he is serving that area better. If you hire him, make sure you are not paying in advance and make sure you have plenty of vacation days or free time to accomodate his change in plans or spontaneous recreational activities.
