Bob's Painting & Siding

Bob came over to look at the house and garage. He saw the color of the siding and suggested a similar brown, as we had requested. He brought out a bucket of paint and a brush and did a small section on the garage to show us the color. I liked the fact that he used and a brush and I saw his technique which was very thorough in how he covered the lap areas and the face of the siding itself. I asked him about spraying and he said that he does not do that. He gets better coverage and penetration with the brush. There was not a sign of a sprayer in his truck. We asked him about the deck and he said that he would power wash it first, along with the house and garage siding before applying a clear water seal. That's all we wanted on the deck. He quoted us on a price within the next few days as he had said. The cost was reasonabale to us so we agreed for him to proceed. He had to delay starting because of some rain. He finished within the time that he said once things dried up. It was a bit more work with the deck than he had thought but did not ask for extra. It looks great.
