Fair and Square Custom Remodeling

We could not be happier with the work that Jason and the team at Fair & Square did at our home! As ours is an older house, built in the 1920's, the challenge was to add built in bookshelves and a mantel that would look like they were original to the house. To complicate things the previous owner had stained the hardwood floors with a custom stain. Fair and Square knocked it out of the park and would highly recommend for any custom work you may need.

If you are looking for quality work done in a timely fashion with attention to detail look no further. Fair and Square did a complete kitchen remodel for me. Jayson is an amazing carpenter and I could not be more satisfied with his work. It was my first major remodeling project and Jayson was extremely patient and professional, answering all my questions, providing me with a timeline for the job and making sure I was satisfied with all the aspects of the remodel. He completed the project in a timely way. He brought in excellent tradesmen who kept my house clean day to day during the process and went above and beyond. If you choose Fair and Square you can be certain that your project will be stress free. Jayson is an expert, does his work honestly, and you can feel confident with him working in your home.

What a nice experience! Jason did a small project (drywall and woodwork) in my house, and I am completely satisfied! He is good with details; He was neat, clean, and professional. Jason arrived on time to provide the estimate which I felt was very fair. He arrived promptly on the scheduled date to do the work. He actually came in under his bid and even told us that if we had this work done again, we only needed to worry about the front of the house. I would definitely reach out to him again and will probably be using him in the near future for some interior carpentry work.

The installation was GREAT. Jason is a personable craftsman. We appreciated his warm personality and effective work. I'd hiring him again for anything -- so long as my budget allows. And if you get what you pay for, you get good service from Jason's craftsmanship.

Jason was phenomenal from start to finish. We absolutely love our custom communications board (1/3 chalkboard, 1/3 paint, 1/3 magnet board). He was meticulous in the design and carpentry. We had a rough idea of what we wanted done but Jason added some suggestions we had not considered that made the project even better. He was so easy and fun to work with and he made sure the idea would work in our space, look fantastic, and meet my families needs. We get compliments on it anytime someone comes to our house! We have hired him back for smaller projects which he has completed in equally as professional and meticulous manner and we will not hesitate to have him back for future projects. You can not go wrong with hiring Fair and Square.

Jason had set up a time to look at what I needed and wanted and told me what he could do and how much. I agreed to proceed and when he scheduled the actual build he showed up on time and completed the project the same day. The frame he built for our heavy kitchen exhaust fan along with 8" duct was very strong. He glued and nail secured all the joints. He installed the fan and hooked up the 8" exhaust pipe securely. No rattles or leakage. In my opinion he is a very good carpenter. There were a lot of angles to cut so that everything would come together and look like it belonged. He supplied 2x4's to build the frame and soffit .He also had other ideas and points that I found worthy of consideration. Jason is someone that will listen and then add his experience to your project. I will hire him for my kitchen cabinet install to finish out our project.

We hired Angie's list member Fair and Square Custom Remoldling to install our new kitchen countertop. It was a small job but the firm's owner Mr. Jason Sieverg devoted his attention to it and did good work in a very timely manner. Likewise, all the subs showed up right on time and did excellent work. The result is a gleaming new kitchen in only about four days once the top was ready and the work started. We recommend Fair and Square highly.
