They installed a shut-off valve for the main water supply next to the water meter. The pipes were right up against the wall so I thought it might be a challenge for them, but they were in/out in less than 20 minutes and cleaned everything up like they weren't even there. Overall excellent job and would hire them for other work.

One of the coldest nights of this year and our heat went out. We are talking zero outside. I called their after hours phone line and within an hour of me calling Jeff had our heat rolling. Would highly recommend.

Nice guys. They arrived when they said they would and did a good job. They added the overflow reservoir we picked up at the store and were generally helpful. The unit was under warrantee so our cost was just service and a renewed warrantee.

Two days and it was completed. Prompt and professional. Estimate was exact!

We bought a new old house and had several plumbing issues to address. I asked them to fix a leaking sink in a bathroom, fix a running toilet, fix a low pressure hot water setting in my kitchen sink and most importantly, fix a leaking sewer drain pipe on my basement. Most things were small.

The good- my bathroom sink and toilet work fine (he jiggled the flapper on the toilet- So this is for the sink) and for that I paid several hundred dollars for a three + hour service call (why did this take three hours? I don't know either).

The bad: the big job plus the kitchen sink were completely ignored. Oh, he told me the sink needed a part (I said ok, order it), and the basement needed two men, some concrete torn up, and another part so they'd need to come back. I said, yikes, how much? He said he doesn't do estimates and that the owner would have to call me back. I never got a call back. I had to call and speak to the owner, who had no idea what I was talking about and would call me back. He also said he couldn't fit me in for a while because of their schedule (weeks). To his credit, he did call me back to offer an appointment within two weeks but still with no estimate. Whatever happened to the part that needed to be ordered for my kitchen sink? Who knows? Never mentioned, clearly never ordered. I had Dan's come in within 2 days and they fixed the basement issue in a couple hours with one guy and no cement removal. I paid the same amount I paid for my leaking bathroom sink. I will not use Best 1 again. The simple services that they did provide worked, so I don't have a complaint about that but they clearly sent an inexperienced plumber and then grossly dropped the ball, lacked cgood communication, and just clearly weren't interested in my residential needs.

Best 1 postponed our appt. twice. Plumber did not communicate unless aked, Everything he repaired, excuding new seal on toilet is again leakiing or dripping. Our son-in-law just replaced the faucet Best 1 "repaired".

Since we were new to the area, we did not know anyone here, so we signed up for Angie's List and did a search. We called and Jeff was able to come over the next morning. He quickly replaced the broken faucet part with one he had on his truck. We found him knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and reasonably priced. We would definitely use this company again and would highly recommend him.

They responded very quickly and the price was very fair. They worked with me on solutions to the problems and did quality work. They ended up replacing my gray water pump to my mound system and found that the level alarm system was broken and came up with a cost effective solution to fix it. I'd use them again in a heart beat.
