Best-1 Plumbing & Heating, Inc. was established in 2000 by Jeff Rucinski. Since then, our company has expanded to ten employees. This gives us the manpower we need to handle just about any job, but still allows us to be personally involved with our projects and customers. We take pride in the quality of our work, and we know how important it is to get the job done on schedule. The good- my bathroom sink and toilet work fine (he jiggled the flapper on the toilet- So this is for the sink) and for that I paid several hundred dollars for a three + hour service call (why did this take three hours? I don't know either).
The bad: the big job plus the kitchen sink were completely ignored. Oh, he told me the sink needed a part (I said ok, order it), and the basement needed two men, some concrete torn up, and another part so they'd need to come back. I said, yikes, how much? He said he doesn't do estimates and that the owner would have to call me back. I never got a call back. I had to call and speak to the owner, who had no idea what I was talking about and would call me back. He also said he couldn't fit me in for a while because of their schedule (weeks). To his credit, he did call me back to offer an appointment within two weeks but still with no estimate. Whatever happened to the part that needed to be ordered for my kitchen sink? Who knows? Never mentioned, clearly never ordered. I had Dan's come in within 2 days and they fixed the basement issue in a couple hours with one guy and no cement removal. I paid the same amount I paid for my leaking bathroom sink. I will not use Best 1 again. The simple services that they did provide worked, so I don't have a complaint about that but they clearly sent an inexperienced plumber and then grossly dropped the ball, lacked cgood communication, and just clearly weren't interested in my residential needs.
