This job went great - plumber was on time and very knowledgeable. I had gotten myself into a bit of a plumbing pickle, and after he took a look at what I was trying to do, validated that it wasn't the kind of problem easy to solve by even a fairly handy homeowner. Got everything knocked out and done in one visit and was great to work with.

In spring of 2016 our furnace died and we hired Albiero to replace it.  At first it worked fine, but then twice in the next year it abruptly stopped working. The second time it stopped it was the middle of winter and because I didn't want to pay hundreds of dollars for an after hours service call, my small children and I were forced to sleep in a house with no heat.  Both times they came out they charged us, even though it had been less than a year since they installed it.  They rationalized that the things they replaced weren't part of our warranty, but I would expect a furnace to keep working consistently for at least the first year!  Even if Albiero gives you a lower quote than another company, I would STRONGLY recommend going somewhere else.

Disaster. He fell through the ceiling, (which I know is wasn't his fault and can happen), but they charged me all the time it took him to clean it up AND the ceiling looks terrible because they did not hire a professional to fix it! I am including an email I wrote them which they were non responsive to so I sent it via mail. They decided they were going to keep the bill as is even after my thorough explanations noted below:

Dear Mike Roscoe,
I have received and reviewed the invoice for the ceiling light install and am writing with a request for you to reconsider the full total of this bill we received on 1.07.2016. Because of the issues I will state below in further detail, I don’t think it would be fair to charge us for the full invoice. I realize you reduced the bill slightly by one hour, but honestly, I am quite surprised having received a bill at all due to the many inconveniences we endured in which I will also state below.
1. The hours were not a fair calculation: When the electrician arrived I told him we just need new wiring from the switch to the ceiling box. We already knew the switch didn’t work anything in the room as the ceiling fan up there was turned on by the toggle cord and the plugs were already checked and was not  working in according to the switch either. I explained this to him a few times but he continued to try to “figure out” the wiring as is. I asked him again if we can just put in new wiring and he finally agreed to doing so after chit-chatting for some time with myself about personal family things and with my husband about band talk, of which was his own initiation.
2. After he was in the ceiling a while I heard the crash and did not know he fell through until he came back in after calling you, I believe and smoking a cig. I do understand how this can happen and I did not get upset. However, he proceeded to say that there is always some sort of dirt after a ceiling install, so if he knew this, he should have put some sort of plastic or tarp over my printer and flooring, which had been newly installed. But this “little mess” was nothing to what kind of mess I saw. There was insulation and drywall dust everywhere, over my printer in which I use for work, and over the wall and flooring. The time he took to clean all this up should not have been included and was also exceeding the fair amount of hours noted on the bill.
3. The three-way wiring took only 15 min at the most, and he did it wrong. The charge should not have included him coming back to fix what he did not do right in the first place.
4. I did not get a follow up from anyone until a few days later after “I” had to call to ask when someone was going to be coming to fix the whole in my ceiling. I was told someone would be by that weekend and also the electrician would be by that weekend to fix the 3-way wiring he did not wire correctly... as a few other things in our house was affected by this forgotten wire, so I would have appreciated a prompt return. When no one came by, and we were still stuck with a hole in our roof in which much warm are was escaping, I had to call again the next week to ask when someone would be by. A week later after the falling through, you finally “stopped in” to review the damage. We still didn’t have anyone “fixing” the hole. Finally, I received a call from someone to start on the repair. The contractor you hired was not a drywall specialist, but just someone who flips houses and a handyman. As if this whole thing wasn’t inconvenient enough, the man comes out every morning for two weeks to slowly fix the hole. And, the job he did is really not a satisfactory job in my opinion. There are bumps and uneven patching everywhere. It is an unsatisfactory patch job and it left us with breathing insulation and cleaning up dust every day for about 3 weeks.
Thank you for hearing my concerns. I look forward to your response and a revised invoice soon. As a member of Angie’s List, I will be happy to review your company online.
