After a comparison of merchandise with other nursery from Angie's List, Mayfield's looked healthier. Delivery was not on schedule- when I called, the delivery was made by the end of the day.

I was charged a lot of money at the local farmer's market for a few apples, so I decided that I will grow my own tree. I did some research online to see which variety would work best for eating and baking. Then I called the nursery to see what they still had in stock. I ended up purchasing a Cortland apple tree. The employees at the nursery were knowledgeable and helpful. The tree comes with a guarantee. If it dies within the first year, I can return it for a replacement. I like this insurance since this is my first crack at growing a fruit tree. I planted my the tree myself, that is why the price is so low.
