Cornerstone Land Surveying

They never responded to my request for a quote. I gave them a "C" overall because they didn't do anything wrong to merit an "F," but they didn't do anything right either. See my reviews for a small contractor who got the job done within a month.

Rich was very professional and easy to work with. I had trouble finding a surveyor who would even come do a small parcel; most said I wasn't worth their time. Rich said he'd be happy to take the job, was very responsive, and provided me with drawings and full legal descriptions in a very fast time frame. He asked the right questions, to make sure that I was getting the type of survey I wanted, and delivered at a fair price. I would definitely hire him again!

Mr. Simon was very professional, finding markers in a very old neighborhood, making a perfect survey, and even re-doing the placement of the garage for no extra charge.

I approached Rich as he has done several eLoma submissions before and locally it was hard to find someone with that experience. It was a pleasure working with Rich. He came out promptly and was very professional. After his actually survey he kept us in the loop on a very regular basis regarding the eLoma submission to the FEMA. Even though the submission ended up being audited, Rich's finding were accepted (confirming again he knows what he's doing). We are now no longer considered in the Flood zone. Rich is not close to us but should I have additional survey needs I will definitely reach out to him first

Everything went fairly smoothly. Richard was contacted through his website email and he promptly responded with an estimate to our job. After comparing quotes his prices were comparable but he had the best customer experience--due to easy and prompt email feedback. He scheduled the actual survey foot-work a week in advance and performed the work punctually as planned. We had a little snafu with email communication along the way about what paper documentation was required for the survey easements but he handled the situation professionally. After the communication confusion he really increased his phone contact with us to ensure no additional questions were missed. In the end all our needs were met and he corrected the problems we encountered.

Rich came early, did a wonderful job, and was very nice. Only took 1-2 hours, and he got us the documentation within 1 week. Was a great experience.

Rich arrived as planned. Walked around lot-Rich put flags/stakes in to help define a boundary in which I need to repair retaining well. Very helpful.

Rich was very professional, polite and answered all of my questions. Before he left, he walked with me around the property, showing me where the original pipes were that he uncovered, what he used for the middle markers along with marking all points with the pink flags. I would definitely recommend Rich and Cornerstone Land Surveying.

I contacted Cornerstone about the possibility of doing a land survey for my fence line. He does not provide service to the Milwaukee area anymore now that he is in West Bend. But based on the information he provided over the phone, I would have hired him.

Company responded to my email very quickly. Rick was friendly and professional. I would use them again and I have already recommended them to a neighbor.

Rich, showed up on time. He explained how he was going to identify the corner monuments and the the back property line. He found all but one monument with his metal detector and triangulated for the last one. He dug down to see if the last one was buried and sure enough, it was buried right where he had calculated it should be. Rich placed three stakes along the back property line to clearly identify it. I feel I got more than my money"s worth from Rich's work at our property. I would recommend him to anyone, who asked.

We needed our survey done in a rush to meet a village deadline for a zoning board meeting. Rich returned my calls promptly and followed through with everything we needed and even extra copies of the survey. Rich is through and goes the extra mile. I very much enjoyed doing business with Cornerstone, a company that does what it says it will !

Great. They completed a difficult survey that included wetlands and river.

Rich was easy to contact and prompt with return phone calls. He showed up on time and fully prepared on the scheduled day of survey. He spent a lot of time doing the work as he ran into a snag which was unique to this particular job. He fully explained what he did, the problem he encountered and how it was rectified. He placed clear markers after carefully questioning us on what we wanted. We received 5 copies of the plat of survey within days of the completed work. These maps were officially stamped and signed. We were very satisfied with the work Rich Simon did for the survey of our property. Rich has a very professional yet easy-going manner that makes him a pleasure to work with..

I wish Rich was in my area..he is down to earth and was offering up different ideas about my project and PLAT/CSM requirement. If you need a survey of your property, you need to use Rich from Cornerstone Land Survey. He is knowledgeable, professional, prompt, and patient. We needed a survey of our property so that we could get a permit to put a shed on our property. Since we were new homeowners, we thought it would be a good idea to have a survey anyway so we know what property really looks like. I called Rich and we scheduled the work to be done the next week. The weather was bad, but that didn't stop Rich, he was out there getting the job done. He found the the corners of the property and marked them. Then he placed some reference stakes in appropriate areas so that we could easily visualize certain distances from the lot line. Finally he put all the buildings, other objects, and proposed improvements on the survey. He supplied me with a digital copy of the survey and mailed me 7 copies of the official survey. The whole process was done in a matter of days. After the final documents were sent to me I had some questions about distances which I needed to provide to my builder and Rich provided those to me right away. Not knowing much about the process of getting a survey done, Rich from Cornerstone Land Survey walked me through the process, got the job done quickly, gave me exactly what I needed, and answered all my questions quickly. I can't recommend Cornerstone Land Survey enough.

Rich was excellent! He was very knowledgable about the current FEMA map changes and the processes and paperwork associated to requesting a map ammendment. Upon our first conversation, Rich was able to explain everything to me about the process and exactly what he would do. He worked with me as I was on a pretty tight schedule due to my mortgage lender's requirments. Rich was able to complete the process in a very timely manner. He submitted all of the paper work to FEMA and contacted all of the appropriate people to complete the process. Rich was extremly nice. He introduced himself to my wife prior to beginning his survey as I was at work. He wanted to inform her of what he would be doing and where he would be. He let her know when he was done and his preliminary findings. He then followed up with me, giving me the exact details of what he found and what was next, as well as an anticipated time line. I can not say enough good about Rich, the excellent work he does and his priority for customer service!

I wanted a survey of my property done because my new neighbors thought that an unused WE Energies transformer stake was a property stake. When I called Cornerstone Land Surveying to ask questions about a survey, Rich was very professional and I knew right away that I wanted him to do my survey. He arrived on time and explained what was to be done and why. I received my Plat of Survey when promised. After I received the Plat I emailed Rich with questions. He returned my call first thing in the morning answering all my questions. He made sure I understood by explaining in detail.
