Never got a chance to see them. We are redoing my parents estate home in Stone Bank, getting it ready to put on the market this spring. I called and talked with, I believe the owner, explained my situation. He wanted to give me a quote and set up a start date before even seeing the floors. I did not feel comfortable with that so I asked him if he could come out and see what needed to be done. He set an appointment for the following Wednesday. He was nice to say he would call when he's on his way. Needless to say he never called, never showed. He called me the next day and asked if we had ever set up a apppntment? I said yes, yesterday. He apologized and asked if we could set up another. I understand mixups happen, so I said sure, and we were to meet the following Wednesday. This time I was at the house waiting, 45 minutes after the appointment time I called him and asked where he was. He said that I had just called and given him the square footage of the rooms and that he didn't need to come out. I told him that I knew for a fact that I had not called him and that I was waiting for him to show up. This went on for about 5 min, finally agreeing I would give him another chance and wait for the 40 minutes or so for him to drive out. Then he had the nerve to call back, not 5 minutes later and tell me because of being outside their free estimate area, that there would be a charge! I had been extreemlt patient with this guy, but I was done. Said no to the visit and he gladly said okay and hung up. What a way to run a business. Went on their website to see exactly what he was talking about, and it said free estimates within a 30 mile radius. We'll, not to get picky but I am, according to google maps, 27 miles from him! Why on the website does it say "Can provide you with a free estimate based on a quick survey of your Flooring" if they have no intention of honoring it? He also tried to make me out to be the one lying! I have no use for people like that, and hope you don't either. Very, very upsetting when I gave them so many chances!
