duct.  Because we had already been waiting so long for the floors to be installed, we cancelled the transition pieces and the installer said there was something he could use for the transition pieces.  We tried and tried to get in touch with the installer to have the floors finally installed and never got an immediate response from him.  It took several calls to get through to him.  We finally got an appointment set up for him to install the floors.  He installed the floors and used what he thought was a good solution for the transition pieces.  I was gone when he installed them and I was not happy with what he did.  We called and called him to try to get the transition pieces changed to something we had picked up because we felt they would work better for us.  We did not get any response from him, so we called the complaint department.  They did what they could do to contact the installer, but then again trying to get in contact with him was nearly impossible.  Finally, he left a message and told us what day he could fix the problem.  We left him a message (because we could not get him on the phone) and told him that date was okay.  He never called that day before he was coming to let use know what time he would be there (the appointment time was set at 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.).  He did show up at 9:00 a.m., but it would have been nice if he would have called to let us know he was on his way.  Well, he came to fix the problem and did a lousy job.  In fact, he was so much in a hurry that he actually left his equiment behind and had to call us back so he could come and pick it up.  As far as I am concerned, Lumber Liquidators and Rosewood Fooring & Trim are not customer oriented and really do not care if your satisfied with the final installation or product or not.  The installer was not very skilled or interested in creating an attractive solution to the situation we had, in other words he is far from being a master carpenter.
