I will recommend him. We've used him on several occasions at least 3 different homes. He's reasonably priced and I can't say enough good things about him. He's personable, explains everything which is really important and cleans up after he's done.

Cassidy came out to do an air sample and sample mold in my basement. He was very detailed in his work and took a number of samples from items in my basement as well as the air quality on all floors of the house. We did have some mold that needed to be cleaned up. He provided a detail report of the samples taken as well as how to clean up the mold. I emailed him a couple times afterwards with questions and he responded quickly. I would not hesitate to call Cassidy again if the need arises.

The test was required because I am purchasing a 30-year old condo with a deep lower level and crawl space, and I am highly allergic to mold.  We had a 5-day window from date of offer to acceptance by all parties to get this test completed.   Cassidy Kuchenbecker was available, and arrived early to the appointment. He conducted several tests over a few hours, checking every possible location where mold might be growing--from inside the attic down through and into the crawlspace.  The results of these tests were available later that evening (a day before my contract's testing results were required) and were emailed to me. The results included detailed explanations of the type of mold being tracked, why it's a hazard and what the actual results were against a normal scale.  My test results all came back normal.  Cassidy followed up with me via email, explaining that even in a couple of areas where the test results were a bit higher but still within normal range, there was no need to worry, just to monitor down the road.   This is the second time I've used this firm, and initially felt their pricing to be a bit high, but the thoroughness of the test, attention to detail, and promptness of service/customer response was well worth it.

Cassidy reviewed an area in my basement that had a history of water infiltration due to inadequate grade for mold concerns.  He was able to determine that there were no major concerns and that the area could simply be cleaned and insulated over.  I very much appreciated his prompt and friendly assistance with this matter.  He would be the first person I would call if I experienced a more significant issue in the future.

I was referred by my realtor for an issue I am experiencing in my current home.  Casidy was able to come out the same day I called.  He did an extensive inspection that took over an hour.   He then produced an very detailed report that confirmed that I had mold.  He also talked to me during the entire inspection and let me see the samples he had collected and what he was doing.  I was very impressed with how detailed the process was and how professional he was.

They were fine. I didn't have any problems. I didn't expect to have any problems, but I needed to have a pro come out and take a look. That service market is a little weird in terms of competitive pricing, but I felt that they charged me a fair rate. The report was impressive. They were perfectly fine in responsiveness, there were no problems there. I've already told them to give me a jingle in 12 months when I've got to have it done again.

They did fine. It was a bit expensive but they did the work pretty well. What stood out to me about them was their references and the list of the jobs that they did. I would recommend other Angie's List members who are planning to use them to make sure that everything that they have done is specified in the contract. They did not really do much testing for me. They just re-mediated.

What started out as a suspected mold issue, turned into a full blown mold and rotten floor discovery. Thanks to Environmental Initiatives we were able to run not walk away from a very expensive purchase. We would certainly recommend EI / Cassidy to anyone interested in determining the possibility of the presence and extent of mold in a possible purchase. A lot of times when you call a mediation company, they're just out to tell  you whatever but theses guys told us exactly what was out there.

The services provided by Environmental Initiatives were prompt and professional. We had time constraints per sale inspection contingencies, and the testing and reporting were completed within 24 hours of contacting the company. Cassidy (microbiologist) performed the services and did an excellent job of explaining both the process and the meaning of the results.
I highly recommend that homeowners with real or suspected mold presence consider the services of this firm.  There is a lot of misunderstanding about the presence of mold in homes.  Hiring an expert to identify your specific circumstances and whether remediation is needed ensures that you do no more and no less than required from an objective point of view.

EI's representative, Paul, was responsive and on time.  He performed his work as planned and had been explained to us.  The company's equipment is brought to the site, and used there to collect mold spores, etc., for an instant response. Paul called me same evening to report all was OK with mold report.  Radon took a few days, but also ok.  We asked a lot of questions about the science of the new methodology and Paul was not condescending; instead he took the time to explain everything in detail so we could understand.  I felt the price was a bit higher than some of the other quotes I had received, but the services and timing was worth it.

We were concerned about the asthma symptoms our young son had developed.   Due to the fact we'd had water damage in the past, we decided to test for mold.  Since our son's health was involved, I didn't simply want a contractor to come out "for free" with a moisture reader and tell us we had mold.  We wanted something more thorough and that's exactly what we got with Environmental Initiatives.  They brought an entire "mobile lab" to our home and tested samples on the spot, including air quality.  Within a day, we received a complete detailed report of the various types of molds that were present on surfaces and airborne.  Also included in the report was data explaining the concentration of the mold spores in each area of the house.  They also provided recommendations for remediation as well.  Since he wasn't selling his construction or remediation services, I felt his recommendations were comepletely trustworthy.  The report was scientific so there was no room for interpretation.

They really know their stuff and I can't say enough good things about them.
