Was fixed in a day. Company set up for Covid distancing, wore masks, etc.

Excellent. how cool is this for customer service, he stayed open late on a Saturday as I sprinted over to let him take a look just after 1PM. A+ for customer service as he waited for me to come in to give me an estimate. He immediately greeted me and began working on the machine 1/2 hour later the machine was running like a top! He courteous, genuine and an expert at fixing precious old machines... his fee was a pleasant surprise. Hope you call him and go here 1st!

Excellent service. I was worried that I would have problems finding someone to service this old of a sewing machine, but I found Blenkinsop to be very knowledgeable. The sewing machine works like new.

The owner is very nice, but extremely disorganized and sloppy. I live across town from the shop and have had to make four trips back and forth to work with this guy. First, the repair wasn't done in the time promised, then, he kept my machine for MONTHS, supposedly working on the fix, then said he couldn't fix it and that I should pick it up. When I went back again to pick it up, he said that he hadn't even tried. I took the machine home because I had a bunch of projects that were now behind, only to discover that the sewing table attachment was missing. This required another trip back across town to pick it up, but his shop was so disorganized, that it was a hunt to find my missing part. And just now, going to change the bobbin, I have discovered that I have someone else's bobbing casing, it doesn't fit the machine, doesn't fit the bobbins and so I can't sew. AGAIN. I am EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED and would have been better off to have never encountered this shop. This will require another 40 minute trip to get back the correct part - a part that had nothing to do with the repair in the first place. And I am not confident my missing bobbin casing can even be found in that mess or whether it may have gone home in someone else's sewing machine by now.

I had taken my machine to another repair shop and after 3 months it still had not been repaired. The cost estimate was $235 to $265. At that point my patience had worn thin and I searched Angie's list for other repair shops in the area. I found Blenkinsop Repair in West Allis. I called and spoke to Bill, the repairman, to see if he could service a Pfaff machine. He assured me he could and gave me a two day turnaround time. At that point, I retrieved my broken machine from the original repair shop and drove to West Allis on a Friday afternoon. I met Bill in his storefront shop and he did a preliminary exam of my machine, diagnosed the problem, and said I should call on Monday or Tuesday to see if it was finished. I picked my machine up on Tuesday afternoon and paid a total of $70! My machine runs like a dream and his work is guaranteed for one year. Bill Blenkinsop is a very pleasant, friendly man with a quirky sense of humor that I find rather endearing. I would definitely recommend him for your sewing machine repair needs.

I took my machine in to have a tune up and address a thread tension problem that's been driving me crazy. He said it would be done in 2 hours and it was. He estimated about $50 and it was $47.50. My machine is running beautifully and I couldn't be happier. Excellent service!
