Once the contractors had the flooring ripped up, the owner told me the cost would be higher than originally quoted. Ended up being almost twice as much, labor only. Materials stayed the same. They broke two items in my home, which I didn’t find out about until after they left. Didn’t bring garbage bags, so asked to use mine. Didn’t have room to load garbage into their vehicle, said he would pick up by the end of the week, and it’s still there, in my front yard. Owner verbally fought with daughter while working on the project. Asked to borrow a towel to clean up water, ended up using it to block sewer hole and had to throw towel away. Floor is now uneven and the caulk placed along wall to seal is does not look professional (see picture).
