We initially met with Tom Jones, who was prompt and professional in all respects when he was bidding the project and, once retained, throughout the entire $15,000 project. However, within a year we had two issues: the paved walkway had sunken about six inches and buckled considerably in one area, and; about 60% of the shrubs and trees died. When we contacted Tom, our calls weren't returned for days and he offered a lot of excuses and reasons for the problem, but no compensation or reduction of cost for repair of walkway or any replanting.
This past fall, two huge stones fell out of the retaining wall, which is in the front of our house. Tom came by and looked at and then about 10 days later his guys came to repair it (very nice guys), but unfortunately one of the granite stones broke into several small pieces when they were trying to replace it, but which they still used to repair the wall. We now have a long retaining wall, built with very large stones, that runs the length of our house in the front, but right smack in the middle of the wall is a 4 x 4 foot area of tiny stones....it looks obvious and ridiculous.
We called Tom and left him a message asking if it was a temporary fix or if it was permanent, and I'd it was permanent, then it was unacceptable and to please drive by and take a look. That was five days ago and we haven't heard anything.
Today we met with a representative from ReVi who has agreed to do the repairs as well as recommend plantings more conducive to our soil and shade.
We would not recommend LandArt to anyone!

This is a professional group of people, no question. They are high priced. They put in a new block patio and did a great job, except they did not quite finish what they had promised. Overall I was happy with their patio work. Where they went bad on me was in fall cleanup of our large and wooded backyard. They laid down mulch as thin as it could be put down, and we do not think the mulch was very good. We were very disappointed with this effort.I think highly of the management, but given their high prices and inconsistent performance on these two jobs, we are reluctant to use them again.

The company sent me a contract for services which was signed and returned. They plowed my driveway once, the bill and was paid, and they did not show up again for the entire winter. I called to discuss it with them. They were very apologetic but still did not show up to plow when it snowed all winter.

Land Art Co. did nice work. There was a little bit of misunderstanding on the price but we settled it. I would suggest for people to get everything in writing and if you do any exchange orders, make sure to get it in writing. They came when they said they were going to come.

It went very well! Their thoroughness made them stand out. Right from when we first contacted them until the time the work was completed they were thorough.
