From the time Scott and his crew started, until finished the work was done very professionally, Scott took the time to explain to me the certain areas which needed extra attention and repair, he explained why he would repair it the way he was going to do it. He went above and beyond to be sure our roof, the saddle behind the chimney, the ridge vent and the valley flashings were all built and installed properly so we would have a roof that would protect our home for years to come. I would definitely recommend Excellence In Home Renovation and would use them again.

The entire project went very well. Scott and his crew were always on time, always attentive to our needs, and above all, always professional. A roofing project can be stressful for the homeowners. Scott understands all levels of stress for his crew, the homeowner, and the neighbors. His attention to this and all details made the whole experience enjoyable. As with all projects, unexpected problems arise but Scott had it covered. For example, the chimney needed more attention because of poor craftsmanship from the last time the roof was replaced. Scott discussed the problem with us, gave us our options and took care of the problem quickly and professionally. When the garage roof was removed, the boards were worse than we thought originally. Scott gave us the option of just papering and shingling over the top of the boards, or sheeting first, then papering and shingling. We decided to sheet the garage first. As it turns out, we know this saved our garage. The garage roof is much stronger as a result of the sheeting. If this had not been done, it probably would have caved in from snow load in the very near future. All the sheeting and labor was done at a very low cost and the results are priceless.

My roof was replaced just twelve years ago with CertainTeed shingles. At the time, we thought we would never have to worry about it again. The shingles failed, and the contractor we hired last time cut corners. Cut corners are not apparent to homeowners. You trust your contractor and cannot see what is really done under the surface of the finished roof. We now know that having the right contractor makes all the difference. Scott took pictures during each step of the roofing project to show us the quality of the services he was providing. Finally, the rain gutter on the garage was in poor shape. I purchased a new gutter and Scott installed it at no extra cost. He also worked on all downspouts to make sure they were secure on the house at no extra cost. My property was always clean at the end of each work day, and all nails were picked up. What else could you ask for?

Scott and his crew roofed our home and garage and replaced our rubber porch roof. There was substantial damage found under the rubber roof and Scott replaced the wood on it. The team took a little longer than was anticipated but we are very happy with the result. They were here by about 8:30 every morning and did a pretty good job of cleaning everything up each night. The crew was respectful and friendly. Scott rolled with the punches as new things kept arising and always was pleasant with a smile on his face. In the end we paid a bit more than the estimate indicated but I guess thats why its called an ESTIMATE. Still, we found his work to be professional and to be a very good value. We would recommend this company and hope to use them again for future home projects.

• The job was done while he was also replacing a roof.  When it was raining, he worked on the tiles.  The floors turned out fantastic.  I highly recommend him for doing tile work.  The job was completed on 8/12/2014.

Scott came to our house one day and had the roof on the garage and the area cleaned up the very next day. He and his crew were friendly, attentive to detail, professional and FAST. Scott even found extra trim matching our garage and although it wasn't
part of the deal, he installed it for the cost of labor only. He's quite a character but he listens and he'll make sure you get exactly
what you want. He's also one of those rare people who believes a handshake seals the deal so be prepared to shake hands after each discussion. He certainly has our recommendation. P.S. If he brings Hannah, you are in for a treat. She is their very well-behaved and charming mascot.

SCOTT AND HIS CREW DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB IN LESS THAN PERFECT CONDITIONS.THEY WERE ALWAYS PLEASANT AND VERY HARD WORKING.I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN ANYTIME.
