"I am again responding to Mr. Gottsacker's latest review. He has responded that because we pointed out the wrong classification for his job lead, he feels this is a point that matters. We only acknowledged the difference in the category in the response that Home Advisor asked us to give so that the facts would be known and that we would be charged the correct amount for the lead as it was not an "exact match". The category has nothing to do with the circumstances of the job. Mr. Gottsacker does not indicate that the proposal sent to him clearly states the job was for the replacement of the inducer motor assembly only not a new boiler. As previously stated, we explained to Mr. Gottsacker that the proposal was for replacing the inducer motor assembly only and that when we replaced the inducer motor assembly there could be additional problems. His wife spoke with our technician when we went to do the job and after seeing the additional problems, she stated she would prefer to replace the boiler than put more money into it and would speak to her husband. We were never asked to provide a proposal for the replacement of the boiler. Yes, we give free estimates and he got that in the form of the proposal, he was not charged for this. He was not forced to accept it in any way. We sent him a proposal for replacing the inducer motor assembly, clearly not to replace the boiler. He sent us his down payment attached to his copy of the proposal and we are very confused as to why he is claiming we misrepresented ourselves. We provided a free estimate, issued a proposal requesting a down payment if he accepted the terms, and he sent us a down payment accepting the terms. We will provide the court with a copy of his down payment and contract. We will not address this again unless Home Advisor advises us to. We feel Mr. Gottsacker regrets his decision in hoping to get any easy fix although he was advised that we could not guarantee the after changing the inducer motor assembly there would not be additional problems that could not be diagnosed until the inducer motor assembly was replaced. It appeared that Mr. Gottsacker had tried to work on the equipment himself, when the technician arrived, the equipment had some parts on the floor. We still feel that Mr. Gottsacker regrets his decision and it trying to find a way to justify that. We regret he feels this way, he is well aware of the proposal content."
