Asbestos Abatement
We needed the asbestos abatement for our tile and mastic in our basement living areas. Todd did a great job explaining our options and the pros and cons of each. We ultimately went for total removal as opposed to encapsulation. Removal took 1½ days. Steve and Heather were exceptional, and the results exceeded our expectations. As you might guess, when we found out we had asbestos, we were a bit disheartened, but Umbrella made the entire process clear, informative, and reassuring. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. We are extremely happy and satisfied.

After buying a house, I discovered some Asbestos in the ceiling insulation. Umbrella came out to take a look at the project within two business days and provided me with an estimate the very same day of looking at it. Since I was on a tight schedule they moved projects around a bit to make sure it gets done fast. Friendly and good communication, fair price and flexible. The crew Steve and Heather were super friendly and efficient.

Our basement had a popcorn ceiling that tested positive for asbestos. I reached out to a few companies for quotes, and I really appreciated the convenience of being able to upload photos and talk through the situation with Todd. After discussing options, we decided the best approach was to remove the ceiling drywall entirely.
The crew showed up right on time for demo day and were both friendly and knowledgeable. Todd even came by later in the day to lend a hand so the job could be completed in just one day. I was really happy with the results and am excited to move forward with renovating the rest of the basement. I highly recommend Umbrella Environmental for asbestos abatement.

I contacted Todd at Umbrella Environmental when I discovered I had asbestos pipe insulation in my basement. I sent a couple of pictures and filled out the online quote form. Within just a few minutes Todd called me with a quote that was much lower than I was expecting. They were even able to schedule me the next day. The crew arrived exactly when they said they would and were very friendly. They completely covered and protected the area and removed the asbestos. Cleaned everything up and did an awesome job. By far one of my best experiences with a contractor!

Highly recommended. We needed our attic tested for Asbestos before putting new roof and insulation in. Todd returned my call immediately, patiently answered all of my questions and tested the attic next day. This was great, because the roof was going up 3 days later! Luckily there was no asbestos and we could proceed with the work. I’m very grateful for Todd and Umbrella Environmental.

I was contacted by Todd from Umbrella Environmental after leaving my information for asbestos removal contractors. Todd was able to quote me from photos and information I provided him via text exchanges. This was admittedly a small job, but Todd was patient and took the time to answer all of my questions. The holidays were hectic as they often are so we sat on the quote a bit. When I did follow up I was told they had an opening for Friday, Jan 3, so I jumped on it. The crew, Steve and Heather, were thorough and professional yet had the personality to keep things light and interesting. Communication was great throughout and the invoice was for the quoted amount even though there was a bit more work involved than anticipated. I can't recommend Umbrella Environmental enough.

It went great. Initially we thought we were dealing with asbestos. Todd thought it probably was asbestos as well. He tested it and in a very short amount of time sent me reports stating we did not have asbestos and were able to move forward with our project. This was all completed in such a short amount of time that we were able to finish our project ahead of schedule. During construction we noticed wrapping around our ductwork. We thought it might be asbestos so we called Umbrella and they came out the same day. They took samples and sure enough it was asbestos. We set up an appointment to take care of it and Justin and his crew did an amazing job. Super clean, efficient and informative. I would absolutely recommend using them!
