I wouldn't recommend them. He told me what he was going to use. We had mold in our attic and I had the whole roof removed. I did a lot of research on how to get rid of the mold to make sure it didn't come back on the woodwork that was up there. When he came, he said he didn't get that so he would get some other stuff. The guy did the estimate and said he was not going to use that. I'm just worried about it because after all he said he would use these stuff and then he didn't. I had insulation put up there so I don't want mold on our woodwork. I don't want to go up there and look because I would be so upset. I spent $12,000 getting that attic and he didn't use what he said he would. The price was not the cheapest on my list, but I was happy that he was going to do all these things like hand and wash off the woodwork up there with the stuff. He sure didn't tell me the truth. For his punctuality, he did come on time. When they smoked, they went outside and their butts were all over my porch. I would not use them again.

They were very accurate as to how long the job would take. The workers were very courteous. Given the nature of the job, I was not able to view the job as it progressed. But the end result was satisfactory. The reason for the B on quality was that they had to remove and replace the tiles in a dropped ceiling, and several of the frame pieces were damaged. However, that may have been unavoidable. Overall, I was very pleased with their performance.

Joe was great. Came over to assess, described procedure and gave quote in timely manner. Removal was scheduled for about 2 weeks later. Joe and staff arrived on day scheduled first thing in AM. Set a barrier to upstairs so we couldn't actually see the work being performed, however once job was completed it was obvious that the job was well done. Very clean and neat. We had another quote which was considerably higher. We felt that the price was fair and we were confident that the quality was excellent. Joe is a very nice guy. We would certainly hire this company again should we have the need for their services

Joe was quick to get back to me when I called for an estimate. He came over the following evening to look at our project. We needed his team to remove a large area of old 9" x 9" tiles from our basement floor. They were able to come over the following week to do the work. My husband was home when they did the work, so I don't know all the details of what they did. I know they sealed off the area and took preventative measures to keep the dust to a minimum. When I came home it was done! The house had a weird smell, but we're thinking it is a musty smell from under the tiles. They did not remove the black adhesive. It is still permanently bonded to the cement floor.

They were excellent. They came in and did the job in an hour short of what they told me it would be. They cleaned up very well. They were less expensive than competitors.

The job went very well. The tiling and mastic were all removed in about 6 hours. The workers arrived promptly. Everything was cleaned up when they were finished. Joe came at the end to check the air quality and the room was safe. We had called a number of asbestos removal companies and Vilo Company was the only one to call us back for an estimate, the estimate seemed very reasonable to us and we lucked out with such great service. I was nervous about having the asbestos removed, but it turned out to be such an easy process with this company. Highly recommend!

Vilo's staff was prompt, courteous, and very accommodating to the need for answers for a first-time home remodeler. They came promptly for the estimate, answered all the concerns and questions we had, completed the work using proper guidelines, and deducted the minor cost of a replacement for a piece of woodwork that was damaged in the removal of flooring in a tight space. The crew worked hard and removed 6 layers of flooring and wood. They also removed all materials from the site promptly. Despite use of water spray to minimize dust, dust did set off our hard wired smoke detector.

I contacted Vilo to get an estimate for the removal of tiles, linoleum, and mastic from my basement. Joe and Manuel arrived on time, took a good look at the area and made suggestions about what was needed. They sent an estimate the following work day, it was fair, and since they were very good at explaining the process, I asked them to do the work. On the scheduled day, the crew arrived as scheduled and began work. Everyone was professional and very good at explaining what was being done. All areas where work was being done were sealed off and a venting system was used to create negative pressure. They finished the project in the afternoon. Later, after getting a closer look, I noticed some mastic that was still on the floor. I called to explain the issue and they arranged a time to come back (almost the next day) to address the issue. They were there an additional 6 hours removing the mastic with adhesive remover. I'm pleased with the quality of the service and the work.

The crew arrived on time and set up a lot of plastic tarps to contain the area. They removed the insulation, cleaned up the area, and were done in about two hours.

Overall experience was satisfactory. Work took two days instead of promised one, but this delay did not effect my move in date. Work also left a very strong chemical odor that lingered for almost a week, even though contractor used low odor solvent. I was not informed of this before hand. Tile removal from the concrete basement floor went great (except the odor). The first floor room wood floor didn't turn out as good. The tile came up, but the "mastic" used was a bitumen (tar like) product. It could not be removed without destroying the wood sub-floor. I would use this company again for this type of work. They also remove insulation, which I might use them for as well.

On time, did the work and left it neat.
