After the big flood, we had here in Wisconsin, I had to pull everything up from the basement floor, including the tiling. Underneath the tiling there was about a quarter inch of mastic that tested positive for asbestos. Umbrella environmental did a great job. Very friendly and great customer service. Highly recommend..

I highly recommend umbrella Environmental based on three exceptional experiences I have had with them. The first job they did for me was to remove a small amount of asbestos wrap around a leaking pipe in my basement. They managed to fit me in almost immediately so that I could get my plumber to fix the leaking pipe. A while later, I asked for a quote to remove the rest of the asbestos in the basement, and I felt that the quote was very reasonable for the work that needed to be done and they came in and completed it in just a few hours! Exceptionally friendly and professional workers who left the space clean and asbestos free! Based on the great job they did in my basement, I also hired them to remove all of the old insulation in my attic, which had been infested with mice at one point, and put in fresh and thicker insulation. Again, the quote was very reasonable, the workers were equally professional, friendly, speedy, thorough and cleaned up after themselves!

Todd talked me through the process and all my questions and his team showed up on time, talked me through the process, and finished the job very efficiently!

I was contacted by Todd from Umbrella Environmental after leaving my information for asbestos removal contractors on homeadvisor. Todd was able to quote me from photos and information I provided him via text exchanges. This was admittedly a small job, but Todd was patient and took the time to answer all of my questions. The holidays were hectic as they often are so we sat on the quote a bit. When I did follow up I was told they had an opening for Friday, Jan 3, so I jumped on it. The crew, Steve and Heather, were thorough and professional yet had the personality to keep things light and interesting. Communication was great throughout and the invoice was for the quoted amount even though there was a bit more work involved than anticipated. I can not recommend Umbrella Environmental enough.

I hired TEKs to remove some vermiculite from the walls of my home. They were able to schedule me in quickly and their pricing was very fair. They stayed in touch up until the scheduled date of service and worked with me on the best solution. Highly recommend.

Other contractors did not bother to test for asbestos. They just assumed incorrectly that it was there because of the age of the house. I would have spent thousands of unnecessary dollars having nonexistent asbestos removed if not for Tod's diligence!

It was pretty important that I get this taken care of quickly because I had water leaking in the basement and the plumber told me that the asbestos had to be removed before they could work on the pipe. They contacted me as soon as I filled out the form and let me know that they could help me today. Everyone was exceptionally gracious and professional, and I anticipate I will use them to remove the rest of the asbestos from the pipes in the basement.
