We bought a house with an indoor pool 5 years ago.  We were excited, but being neophytes we were also very nervous about caring for a pool.
 
Justin Lex and the entire staff of Swimming Pool Services could not have been more helpful and informative. They expertly coached us in the everyday care of our pool, even offering us an introductory class.  Whenever we had a service need or request they were always prompt and professional in their response. 
 
Recently we had to replace a very old pool heater. After the installation there were ongoing issues with the new unit malfunctioning - not their fault by the way. True to their word though, Justin and the service staff replaced the heater, including a very helpful upgrade in equipment, all at no additional charge to us.
 
We highly recommend this company for their superior service and commitment to customer satisfaction.

They have taken care of other repairs for us over the last 3 yearsand are always honest and fair as to what needs to be done. On occaision they have even advised us against unnecessary repairs/ replacements / supplies. All of the staff that we have encountered have been helpful and very accomodating in setting up appointments to our availability.

We started using Swimming Pool Services because they offered partial pool opening services and had a very nice pool school that is free and informative but we were not happy with when they closed our pool last fall.. They wanted to charge us $150 for the very tiny bathbub size and quot;spaand quot; attached to our pool. Other companies we've worked with told us it was and quot; too smalland quot; to charge extra for this spa , which we had already drained but Swimming Pool Services argued with us and eventually charged us $75 to remove 4 screws and vaccuum H20 out of these lines, approximately 10 minutes work.
Also, we were concerned when the and quot;gizmoand quot; that they put in our skimmer popped out in April. They did send a representative out soon after we called and he explained that this happened because we need to replace our and quot;gizmoand quot; because the threads are worn but they could have told us that last fall.

Their service is great. If anything happens they will come out within 2 days.

NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!! FIRST I HAD TO LET JEFF THE OWNER KNOW MY POOL LINER
WAS IN BY PROVIDING HIM WITH A TRACKING NUMBER AND LET HIM KNOW WHICH
ONE OF HIS EMPLOYEES SIGNED FOR MY POOL LINER. THAT WAS A WEEK AFTER
THEY RECEIVED IT!!!!! WHEN I CALLED TO SEE WHERE IT WAS HE HAD NO CLUE
HE SAID HE WAS WAITING FOR IT!!!!! SECOND I WAS OVERCHARGED ON MY BILL
BY $200.00 FOR THEM REPLACING A BROKEN LENS ON A LIGHT FIXTURE WHICH I
HAD NOT ASKED THEM TO DO AND WATCHED THEM PUT IT IN WHICH TOOK FIVE
MINUTES. THIRD, I LEFT JEFF THE OWNER THREE VOICE MAILS BECAUSE MY LINER
WAS NOT PROPERLY TUCKED IN AROUND THE EDGES AND THEY NICKED IT PUTTING
IT IN, NOT TO MENTION ONE OF MY JETS IS MISSING AND THE OTHER ONE THEY
USED THE OLD BROKE ONE AGAIN AFTER I WAS PROMISED NEW HARDWARE WITH
LINER PURCHASE.. FOURTH, FINALLY WHEN JEFF DID RETURN MY PHONE CALL
(AFTER ME COMPLAINING TO SECRETARY) HE WAS VULGER AND HUNG UP PHONE. DO
NOT BE FOOLED BY THE GUYS HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!!!! STAY

Their very reliable. I'm happy with their service. Anytime that I have a problem they come right out to take care of it.

SPS was excellent to work with. Due to the lay-out of our yard, we needed a custom design of the pool. Throughout the design process, we had to change the plans several times and SPS did not give us any problems. The installation went quickly and all of the workers were very professional. Even during the construction process, we made a few changes to the concrete layout and the landscape design - - again without any grief from SPS. They have done a great job on supporting us after the sale too, as owning a pool is not always simple.
The best thing about SPS (compared to others) is that they were willing to do exactly what I wanted. Two other companies listed to what I said, but did what they wanted on the design.
As noted in my rating, SPS is not the lowest cost provider. However, I believe you get what you pay for and I paid for a top quality pool.
I highly recommend SPS.

They do a nice job of cleaning the pool and getting it ready. It needs some service done and I have enquired about it but they are little bit slow on that. I have yet to hear about it. But as far as their weekly maintenance goes they are good. I will continue to use them in the future.

It went well overall, and the store was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on helping us get our water in balance. I purchased a $200.00 power module for the pool cleaner, and ended up finding the power module left behind by the previous owner. Swimming Pool Services took back my purchase and refunded the money. They are very good and supportive. I highly recommend them, and only gave a B for price because my previous home in Oklahoma had a pool, and the chemicals were less expensive. With the value of service and knowledge they share, I will most likely push the price to an A on my next reporting experience. The knowledge and support is great, and the price will now reflect the value of experience.

We got to know about them from an advertisement that came in through the mail. My husband and I actually went to their showroom. I like their promptness. They are not far to go, and so you can go right into their store and talk to anybody about anything. We take water samples into them, and they test the samples and tell you what you need to add in order to balance it out. There is no extra charge to bring your water samples in. If we are not happy with their chemicals, we go back to them, and they will figure out what needs to be done. They are very good with giving you information, and explaining why they are doing what they are doing. We have used companies in the past but compared to them, these guys are gems. They call if they are going to be late. The chemicals can be bought anywhere if you know what chemicals you need to put in, and how much, but it’s their knowledge that sets them apart. Some companies actually come out and do it for you while they tell me what I need to put in, and how much. There is probably somebody out there who is cheaper but you pay for quality, and my experience with them has been good. The upkeep of the pool is a constant thing, and so you want to make it last as long as possible - I’d rather go with somebody who is on top of what you need to do.

They where very quick and the did the work quickly. This was in the winter. They were very professional and the price was pretty reasonable. I had to pay a little extra because it was in the winter but I couldn't let it go or the pipe could have frozen. They were quick to come and fix it. It was nice.

Fantastic! They sent a repair man on short notice. The problem was that they charged me for 15 min. of labor while I watched the repairman sit in his truck in my driveway. That was not professional.

After several service calls the spa was not fixed. The service manager argued with me and was rude, several times via phone. I asked to speak to his manager, left a message, and never got a return call back. I had high hopes for this company. The initial repair man seemed very knowledgeable; however, he has left the company. Our experience since has been downhill since.

SWIMMING POOL SERVICES HAS ALWAYS PROVIDED PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICE TO US FOR OUR SWIMMING POOL. THE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THEM.

Our overall experience has been pretty good although we have yet to find a pool company that we would rate excellent! We tried two other companies before Swimming Pool Services. People at the store have been very helpful, especially when we have had problems w/our chemical balance. It has been hit or miss with the service people that come to the house though. Some are very professional, courteous, etc. A couple of others while not terrible have not been very responsive either and tend to take more time than we think is necessary. The majority of the service has been in the 'good' range and we will likely use them again due to bad experiences with other companies.

We have been very happy with the service they provide. When we bring in our water and it is tested, they print out a sheet that tells you what your water is like. Also, the sheet tells you what to add, if anything. If our pool is off, we can come back in a week and retest the water. Since our pool is still pretty new we haven't had any problems with it. This service is free to us as it is part of the warranty of the pool.

Jim was very helpful. Our electric box was full and some of the units were already doubled up, so for not too high of a charge (roughly $200), he put in another box and made us feel a lot safer.

They did a wonderful job. They had the pool dug and water in it within four days. The workers were skilled and kept taking measurements to make sure everything was done perfectly. They called before they came and were willing to help with anything extra.
