From start to finish, the process was professional and meticulous. The four movers took great care with our furniture. Two of them drove to FL and unloaded here with the same care and quality. Their and quot;move coordinatorand quot; is part logistics analyst and part psychogist! She was always accessible, reassuring and immediately had the information we requested. We were pleasantly surprised with the price of the move; we'd expected it to cost twice as much. I'd use Barrett and United Van Lines again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them to others.

I would highly recommend Barrett. From the estimator to the coordinator and the three movers, all staff were courteous, professional and quite helpful. I liked the fact that they charge by the pound, rather than a flat rate. This option really met our needs.

Absolutely fantastic! Our moving specialist Ken Kruk did an accurate and thorough job with the estimate. He explained about the optional insurance and how they handle "high value inventory." Muge, the office receptionist, was extremely pleasant and helpful with information and how to pack very specific items. Our driver Kenny Strothers was incredible in loading the truck. The loaders did fine on each end. The price was very good, and they were able to accommodate us with little notice during their busiest time. These people work very hard. We highly recommend Barrett's. You can't do better.

I called around to get the best prices. The woman who answered the phone was very friendly and they had the best price. I booked a week before the move. Three men arrived with a big truck loaded with all the supplies for the day, mats, tape, boxes. They were fast, clean and very polite. They helped us disassemble beds, entertainment systems and even the kitchen table. They didn't hit a single wall which is impressive considering how tight our hallways and doors all. Overall great job and I would hire them again (and have already recommended them to others)!

Barrett did an excellent job of protecting our belongings. They provided a firm price upon inspection of the items to be moved. They were punctual and professional. We would definitely use them again!

They were prompt and gave me tips on how to move things on my own in the future. Also, they supplied used boxes so I wouldn't have to pay for them. I would use them again in the future.

After the 1st 2 hrs, things went down hill. Barrett had a rep come out during the very start of the move to see how it was going. It was fine, b/c it just begun. One of the movers could barely lift or use his judgment as to how to load or unload boxes or wrap furniture. My husband and I started to pitch in our srvs just to make up for his slack. When the move was complete, they wanted MUCH more than what was quoted and wouldn't leave until they got it. We re very frustrated w/the service and complained to mgnt. We didn t choose Barrett when it was time to move out of the apartment and into our home. We checked Angie's list for a mover w/a large list of positive feedback. They were wonderful, million times better than Barrett. I wouldn t recommend Barrett unless you are positive that ALL the workers they send have lots of experience. Recently Barrett agreed to stop bothering us for the additional costs they once insisted were due to them. We had to take legal action to accomplish that however.

The movers and the consultants from Barrett were very professional and punctual. They took care of all the moving while I was able to focus on other things. Everything was insured so I had no worries. They completed the entire job in one working day. I don't know how I would have been able to move everything on my own. Time was of the essence in my case.

They were very courteous and professional. They were always "moving"! There were three men, one large truck and I was amazed at how they got all our junk in there.

The woman who came to take inventory was punctual and efficient. All of the movers- we had a total of 10 different guys- were courteous, professional, prompt, and pleasant. They made what could have been an extremely stressful experience as pleasant as it could be.
