Shabahang Rug Gallery

Wonderful source for beautiful Persian rugs. Traditional and modern. I like simple geometric (minimalistic), modern designs and Bruce Shabahang in Waukesha has a great selection of unique rugs. In fact I consider one large one (about 12' X 15') to be a museum-quality art object. But that's my personal opinion. It was sold with the help of Bruce's father and brother (Ogden St. Shabahang shop) who personally drove me to Bruce's. It's a family team. In both cases, the staff delivered a selection of rugs to my house for approval, and returned with alternatives. They moved furniture and placed the chosen rugs, pads included, to my specifications. These rugs are not inexpensive, but the Shabahangs do give discounts. I've bought a total of 7 from both brothers, and told my nephew and wife who bought one (traditional, from Ogden St.) so you can see that I am happy with the quality, selection, and personal attention. Many of their rugs are heirloom quality that could qualify for future resale. If that is important, a buyer should inquire before purchase.

I furnished two homes with beautiful Persian rugs from the Waukesha location of Shabahang & Sons. Bruce helped me with my selections. He was professional, knowledgeable and courteous at all times. In my first purchase from Shabahang & Sons, I was furnishing my home in Wisconsin. When we decided to move out of state, I contacted Bruce because I had been so happy with my previous buying experience. He coordinated the delivery of my rugs with custom cut pads to my basement in Eagle, Wisconsin. They were rolled and packed for transport to my new home in Mississippi. Now these fabulous rugs are the defining feature of each room in my new home. I am so happy that I decided to purchase from Shabahang & Sons before my move, to avoid the chore of finding a trusted vendor in a new town. I would definitely recommend a visit to see Bruce at the Waukesha location, if you are considering area rugs for your home. Thank you, Bruce. You're the BEST!
