Great! Brian came the very same day that we called. He was very courteous, professional, friendly, and efficient. He took the time to explain to us what he did and why and answer some questions. We are grateful that this company was recommended to us and would recommend them to others/ hire them again!

They respond quickly if you have problems. Their pricing-all plumbers basically charge the same thing for certain things like if you want a faucet put in, they basically charge the same amount. I had a couple of different things.

We contacted Schoenwalder on January 23, 2017 and we had a 40 gallon Rheem water heater installed by 9 am the next day. The man they sent was excellent. He brought the new one in and hauled the old one away. He also cleaned up the area. This is the second time Schoenwalder has come to our rescue on a plumbing problem. Without a doubt they are now our go to plumber. Thank you so much for the great service.

The old water heater was removed and they hauled it away. A 50 gallon Rheem gas water heater was installed. The plumber and his apprentice were done in 1 hour.

On time at 8:00 AM. Completed demmolition and removed old sink, faucet and multiple tops. Counter tops were installed by cabinet maker and he called the plumber when complete with his work. The plumber arrived after lunch time and completed his work before dinner. All was done in one day with little if any inconvenience. The contractors were all pleasant, neat, professional and answered any questions I had about the process. I plan on doing another similar job in another rental property I own next spring.

All went well. The plumber was polite, informative, very skilled and on his way I estimate in little more than an hour.

Brian arrived right on time. I explained to him that my water heater would randomly stop producing hot water. When I flipped the circuit breaker it would kick the water heater back on and then start producing hot water. This had been going on for about a year until last Saturday when I could not get the water heater to kick back on. He checked the water heater and stated he could not find a source of electricity and that I needed to contact an electrician to make sure the circuit breaker was not faulty.
He was at my house from 3:20 pm to 3:45 pm and I was asked to pay $125.00.
My issue is not that he could not fix my problem or that I had to pay for the time he was here. It is that that the service call was $49.95 just for him to come to my house and then and additional $75.00 for him to tell me I needed to call an electrician. He then referred me to Statewide Electrical and when I called them to schedule an appointment I was sure to ask for the cost. They were going to charge me $120 just to come out to see if they could help me. Maybe this is how much services like these cost, but in my opinion to pay $125 for doing little to no work is not going to do a lot to increase your customer base. I do blame myself for not asking the cost for the service prior to making the appointment, which is a mistake I will never make again. I did not make the appointment with Statewide and instead called several other electricians and ended up saving $100 on the service call with Roman Electric....they were only charging $19.95.
Schoenwalder Plumbing is probably a fine company that performs outstanding services....but you should be prepared to pay a premium.
Response from Schoenwalder Plumbing Inc.
"I'm Sorry you feel you were overcharged, Please call me I would be happy to refund the cost of the service call back to you. Kory"

Excellent. Will definitely use them again when we remodel our master bathroom. Always friendly, respectful, and arrived when advised. I don't know if I can say enough. They always remembered me when I stopped back in the showroom or once even when I was out with friends. They laid plastic down on all the floors that were affected by the work. Called prior to arrival and always on time. I think the electrician was subcontracted but Schoenwalder either has standards subcontractors have to meet or carefully selected him because he extremely friendly, respectful, and timely as well. The supervisor stopped out daily and made sure all was being done correctly and that we were happy. We had one small thing that I had wanted done one way and they had planned to do it another. Schoenwalder adjusted to do it as I had imagined it. Again, in my experience, a great company.

It was a very good service. It went very well. I thought the price was fine. It was an emergency because the old one just died suddenly so we called them and they came out first to check and see if the old one could be repaired or if it was just dead and they said that they normally bring a new one out with them just in case the old one is dead which it was and they were just able to install the new one right away. They did a very good job. They cleaned everything up very well. They replaced a lot of lines leading to and from the heater so they did a very nice, clean job of putting everything in place so it works very well. Everything was good.

We have worked with them.  We appreciated their work. I think another person would be safe going with them.  The nice part about it, everything was nice and tidy when they were done.  They did what they had to do.

We has a corian counter top with a corian double sink,,  we did not like the sink and wanted a larger sink , not a double sink, and wanted a deeper sink,, we were advised that the corian sink could be cut out, but the new sink had to be over the counter type sink,   we went to other plumbing stores and ended up at  Schoenwalders, as they did have a sink on sale that would fit nicely into out new opening and matched the counter top,   we wanted one of those new faucets that you just touch and it goes on,, and they carried that product, and it was about the same price as other plumbing stores.  so we hired them and they came to our house to see if that old sink could be cut out,, which it could and there was enough room for a new sink and new faucet,,   the rest is history, as, I said before, we hired Schoenwalder and they came today , they worked in a very professional and timely fashion.  We love our new sink and faucet and would hire Schoenwalder again.

They were professional and did a good job. I found their prices to be on the higher side and do not recommend their services. I will not use the same in future.

My home inspector recommended that a certain pipe in my new home be replaced. He described it as a minor job that would cost "$500 at the outside." I called Schoenwalder and when they came to evaluate the job their estimate was $1500. I asked why it was so much more than the inspector said it should be. The estimator said they were busy and they didn't really want the job. I took that to mean: they'll try to cheat me first, and, if I bite, then they'll bother. If I won't, then they won't bother with me. What if it had been a job on which I had no idea of the going price? I would much prefer that a contractor simply be honest and, if they don't want the job, just say so. But not try to highball me first. I will never call these people again, no matter what.

This did not go well from the start. They did not arrive for the initial appointment. They claimed no one was home (there were several people home) and that no one answered the door. I rescheduled and they came four hours early! I was there and the young man was very pleasant and I let him in to view the bathroom and the work that I wanted done. He indicated he would get back to me that day (Friday) or at the latest Monday. On Tuesday (there was no call on Monday!) I was told the young man was on vacation for the day. I asked if he was on vacation the day before and was told he was not! Since I was in a hurry to get the bidding done so I could proceed with my bathroom project I asked if he could get back to me on Wednesday. At 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday I called them, again, and was told by another man that the only thing he coudl give me was an hourly rate and materials cost. When I asked if he expected me to go into this blind without a bid he said yes and that he would not give me an estimate. Needless to say I did not go with this company. If he did not want the job he could have said that on Friday and saved me a week. Very unprofessional.

I have had very good experiences with them and they have always taken care of me. I will be using them to replace some basement pipes in the future. They are reliable and are worth the price!

They did not arrive on time, but they did excellent work when they got here and we would use them if we can't get hold of our regular plumber. we initially only used them because they do the warranty work on our brand of water heater which had broken down...

They are very good. They are a very good company to work with. The guy that came out and did the work was very nice and very good. In fact, I brought up the fact that I wanted these valves outside and he said he would come back the next day and would not charge service charge.

Better than expected. The plumber did as much as he could with the cabinet installers in the house and came back two days later when the cabinet installers were finally able to cut the counter and install the sink cabinet.

Overall, the experience was excellent and just what I anticipated I would get from Schoenwalders! They have always done an excellent job for me and that is why I will always go to them first for any plumbing needs. What I appreciate is the fact that they responded so quickly and were honest with me throughout the process. When the tankless system was not an option, they were honest about it and explained why. They then gave me a quote on two water heater options. I chose a new 50 gallon Rheem gas water heater and it was completely installed within a few hours. I couldn't believe how quickly my problem was resolved! The young man that installed the new water heater was very professional and careful about making sure not to have any leaking on our newer carpeting when he removed the old tank. He also explained to me the basics of the new water heater. I was very pleased with the quality of his work.
