I had my furnace motor rebuilt by Rusch Electric Motor on 6-20-2021. It failed again on 7-15-2021. It failed again 8-11-2021; this time he told me he charges more when he takes the motor out of the housing. I removed the motor from the housing the 1st, I expect him to do it the 2nd time 2 weeks later. I explained that this time the fan wasn't fastened to the shaft correctly and that the shaft slides in and out of the motor more than an inch causing it to scrape the housing. I asked for a refund he declined but he did say I can bring it in again and he'll look at it again. I bought a new motor from Granger for $140.00. Rusch charged me $100 for the so called rebuild. I wasted too much time removing, reinstalling, delivering and picking up a motor Rusch can't repair. To top it off he tells me he won't work on it until the weather cools off; as if it's okay for me to be without AC when it's 90 today. Brad W Pewaukee
