We had a problem with moisture in our bathroom that created mildew on the ceiling in several places and drywall tape becoming unglued. Moretti’s found that the fan in the room was inadequately vented through the attic. The venting was properl installed and even though a new fan was potentially needed, once the venting was corrected, the fan removed air at the proper rate. We we pleasantly surprised that they just didn’t install a new fan that wasn’t needed as some would do. The drywall was completely replaced in the damaged sections and retaking was done. The ceiling and all walls were repainted. The repainting was done with and unbelievable amount of care. Areas were prepped and painted. We were always asked if we were in agreement with the process of the work and were continually kept up to date on the progress. The clean up when they finished was exceptional. Without a doubt one on the best contractors we have ever worked with and would hire them again for other projects in their scope.

When I called Moretti’s Drywall and asked for a quote, Mike and Damian (father and son) showed up at the agreed-upon time. They were easy to talk to, and I felt very comfortable asking them questions. They were prompt in getting back to me with a quote. The Moretti guys are responsive. When I called with questions, they always answered me, either via phone or text – and once they started, they kept me appraised of what was going on. When I asked their advice about one thing or another, they gave me their honest opinion (by the way, they are great with color too). It was a comfortable and relaxing experience from the minute they came to see my place the first time, to the day they finished. They handled all my drywall repairs and did a beautiful painting job using Hallman Lindsay paint. They fixed and repaired many other items as well. They performed some wonderful detail work that I didn’t expect; for instance, making my old ugly doorbell cover look like a brand new antiqued version, fixing my deeply gouged dog-scratched front door (that I don’t need to replace now), and repairing other pieces of trim (that are not available in the stores). They replaced other casing and trim-work around the floors and cut down my sliding closet doors so they’d fit properly. Working with Mike and Damian has been a real pleasure. Someone else in these reviews said their cost was a great value, and it is true. I’m fortunate to have found these guys, and I’m grateful because I don’t believe anyone else would have given my home the attention that they did – they truly cared that everything looked good, and that I was pleased with it – and I couldn’t be happier.

They did a wonderful job removing the ceiling and kept the room fairly dust free. Each day before they left they did a complete clean up. I also had them paint the ceiling and walls and make some other drywall repairs through out our home. Some of the repairs I had done before with other companies and the cracks came right back. Moretti's drywall scraped out each crack and repaired it the correct way. They also came up with a great way to finish off the skylights. They gave great attention to detail when it came to painting. I would hire Mike and his son Damien again. They were polite, responsive and performed great service. We have one more popcorn ceiling to do.....so I will definitely give them a call as well as refer them to others!

Mike and Damian arrived on the day scheduled. They walked through all the rooms to ensure they understood the repairs requested. They added additional repairs that were missed on the original estimate. Every day they were on time and cleaned up before they left. They were vey professional and quiet while working - important because I work from home. They allowed additional rooms to be added for painting. The drywall repairs were excellent. The painting work as excellent. They walked through the home again with me after their work was completed to ensure I was satisfied and nothing was missed. I would highly recommend them for drywall and painting work.

From the moment Mike and Damian came to our home to give a free estimate until the time they completed a seemingly simple but strangely complicated job, My wife and were very impressed!  They did a great job.  Here are the details:

We had the sliding doors installed and the installer knew his limitations when it came to the required attention to detail it would take to complete this drywall return.  We went with a friend of a friend to try this project and we released them shortly after starting seeing right away they weren't a good fit for this project.  Some time goes by and i try to find a contractor to handle this on Angies list.  What a great idea that was,  I found Moratti's drywall service and all of my problems were solved.  Mike and Damian came, on time, to give us a free estimate. The moment that we met them we knew that they had what it takes to take on this project.

We agreed to the estimate and scheduled the work.  They were right on time as they said they would.  As the job unfolded they found that it was a bit more work than they thought.  They stuck to the original estimate and completed the task at hand with great professionalism and courtesy.  Mike said at the start of the project that when complete we would not even know that they were there.  AND it was true,  They cleaned up after the project better than any contractor that I am used to.  

Hat's off to Mike and Damian!  I would call them first with any drywall projects in the future.  Highly recommend!!!  

The appraiser for our buyer discovered the ceiling of the dining room on the floor of the dining room of our hundred-year-old house.  After the remediation, we had several things to repair before we could close on the property.   We were fortunate that Mr. Moretti was able to slot us into his schedule and get it done quickly.  He handled the challenges of dealing with an old house very well.  The ceiling is comprised of a layer of drywall over the original plaster and is not level, and one cannot even tell where the patch is in the ceiling.  The buyers were beyond thrilled with the repair.
 
This is the second time that we have used this provider, and I can't say enough good things about them!  Mr. Moretti is prompt and professional.  He and his son do the work exactly as discussed and leave the area clean.  I look forward to calling them for our next drywall project.

The Moretti's did a fantastic job. We hired them to perform drywall repairs and to paint the majority of the interior of our house.  The drywall repairs ranged from a large hole cut in the living room ceiling (due to a plumbing problem) to smaller holes in several locations (due to moving fixtures over the years) to fixing other misc. flaws.  After they repaired the drywall and sprayed on a textured finish, the drywall looked better than when we built the house.  For the painting project, they used very high quality paint from Hallman Lindsay. They painted the ceilings with a single coat in the all rooms that were part of the project area and painted all of the walls with two coats, more where needed, as we chose bold colors for some of the rooms, and they made sure that the walls had great color coverage.  They also filled all picture nail holes that we wanted filled.  Their bid was fair and a great value.  During the project we added extra items to the job; two doors and a staircase stringer.  The price adder for those extra things was also a good value.  They started and completed the project on the dates originally scheduled.  Everything was cleaned up on a daily basis and after the project was completed, everything was cleaned up and they moved all the furniture back to where it belonged.  Their pricing was a great value, the work was beautiful and professional and I highly recommend them!

Putting drywall into a remodel of an old house is a true test of skill. Our bathroom was not very square and Mike and Damien did a great job working while minimizing the quirks of this project. They really care about doing a quality job. Some dry wall companies have a get it done fast type mentality, but Mike and Damien use the get it done as fast as we can while doing a great job approach. And it shows. Also, you can feel safe and comfortable with them in your house. My 4 year old son was very curious about their work, and they showed him what they were doing and enjoyed having him watch them. I highly recommend Moretti's Drywall for any work that you might have.

.I chose Moretti's off the List because they were a father and son team and did all their own work. I trusted that with their name on their business that they would execute a great job and stand behind their name. They did exactly that.
The price was fair. They were punctual, clean and very easy to get along with. They informed me on why certain cracks happened and how they were going to fix them.
After the the job, (even though I plan on repainting the whole ceiling) you could hardly tell where the work was done it blended in so well.
I would definitely use Moretti's again for any future work, and I have already recommended them to some friends.

Moretti Drywall LLC did a wonderful job on addressing a variety of issues in my home.
Communication with Mike and his son Damien was very easy with all my many questions answered to satisfaction.
scope of work and result-
1. Repaired drywall above fireplace -Water leak many ,many years ago that was caught and addressed within 24 hours but drywall never done. It was quite a bit of work -old drywall removed, support place d for new drywall and sand texture applied . Was quite impressed by scope of work for this and area looks like there was never an issue.
2.Repaired blistered tape and header/footer butts (which were fine stress cracks from flexion ie weather changes) in a sunroom. Room looks great.
3. Repaired gouges in walls and ceiling of 1/2 bath , applied sand texture and walls look brand new.
4.dining room with 35 year old wallpaper glued directly to wall. Mike and Damien applied gardz to seal wallpaper and applied sand texture after appropriate waiting period. Walls look great.
5.In 2 rooms did an approximate 5x5 square wall repair and cannot even tell there had been any damage after sand texture applied.
6 . applied a smooth finish to smooth walls to cover some gouges in kitchen. I noticed this after they started work but they willingly added/helped me with these areas. Very accommodating and it was much appreciated.
7. did some miscellaneous scattered repairs on walls in 2 bedrooms followed by sand texture. again excellent work.
I received several bids before choosing Moretti Drywall .
I choose Moretti due to ease of communication at bid and fair cost for work done.
Mike and Damien arrived timely , worked until about 2:30 -2:45 each day . Communicated possible slighter later start one day which I appreciated and was fine with me. All the work was completed in a timely manner with superior at clean up at the end of each day.
Very area they addressed looks great.
I would not hesitant to recommend them to family /friends and would definitely hire them again.

Services were excellent! Professional, timely and courteous. They even came in over their vacation to ensure the job was done according to the renovation schedule. Everything was done very conscientiously, they explained everything that they would be doing ahead of time. They were very careful of their work environment to keep dust to a minimum, sealing off their work areas to keep surrounding areas clean. The end result was exactly what we had hoped for. They were very respectful of us as homeowners, and treated our home as they would their own. We would highly recommend their services to anyone, as well as utilize their services again!

Our 2012 project went extremely well. We had a tough ceiling repair project, due to ridiculously high angled ceilings. We were extremely happy with the professionalism, quality, promptness and price. We attempted to rehire the team for another project in Fall 2013. We were not able to get on their schedule, unfortunately. We were promised a contact during the second week of November 2013 to schedule the project; however, they did not contact us, and we haven't heard from them since. The failure to contact us has really set us back and cost us time as a result. Our 2nd project was admittedly too small for this team, who is obviously very much in demand.

These guys stand by their work and for good reason. They are professional, personable, and a real pleasure to work with. As kinks emerged in our project, Mike was inventive in offering solutions to help keep us on track, which gave us satisfaction in giving him our business over competing bids. Our project was a large scale one that came equipped with archways, built-in cabinetry to work around, high ceilings and some of the general shifting that creates waves or unevenness in old houses. With each of these obstacles, Moretti's Drywall was up to the job, making adjustments and smoothing the rough edges to create a beautiful finished product. The pride they take in their work is absolutely merited! From our initial contact, Mike was very responsive in returning calls and answering any questions I had. Every day they cleaned up before leaving and were in every way respectful of our home and our property. I wouldn't hesitate to call Moretti's Drywall if I have future drywall work that needs completed.

They worked diligently and cleaned up after themselves every day. It took three days to sand, mud, and spray a finish on the walls. The completed repairs look like new and we are very pleased. We have since painted and are even more pleased with the finished product. They were very personable and friendly and also worked diligently. I would definitely recommend Moretti's Drywall to anyone who asked.
