Poorly Service not in accordance with code. Poor service slow non responsive and unacceptable quality, System not tested and leaked. I would not use this plumber.

Stumbled on these folks after hours about 7 years ago after basement flooding requiring insurance claim for flooring and paneling damages / struggling with frequent backups in basement drain to street. Another company would clear out initial blockage and referred us to someone with a scope that told us we had a break in the line and would need to replace for about $15K which we did not have. Found Midwest Plumbing on Angie's List and another site and got a 2nd opinion and called after business hours. Recording offered 2 names/numbers for emergencies and one called me back within the hour; send 2 guys and equipment out the next day. Worked several hours and multiple sized snake heads/cutters. Broke through what was only roots and saved us a bundle. Call them out for maintenance snaking main line every year and other jobs as necessary. Recently recommended them to neighbors. We trust them implicitly to provide good service at a fair price.

They ran a camera down and discovered the crack where the roots were coming in. They had a back hoe, they removed the rocks. They cemented the connections in the line. They were good. They were cooperative and nice to work with. They did the work in approx. 2 days.

Received multiple quotes from others.  Went with Midwest based on recommendations, they were also the best price for the job.  Done in one day, no problems since sewer line replacement.

He fixed what needed to be done and I was satisfied with the work. The only problem I had is that the young man that they sent was just incredibly dirty like he just crawled out of a pipe. I just thought it was unbelievably unprofessional that they would let one of their representatives come out that way.

The replacement went smoothly and quick. Very professional and efficient.

Excellent Service

Very professional. Work done in a timely fashion. My wife needed to go out to the hardware store to purchase the faucet (while the plumber was at our house). Thought this was kind of odd, but not a big deal. I guess I would rather have them install a faucet that we supply than to be made to purchase some over priced item that we may not like.
The only reason I did not give them an overall A is that after the work was done, I was told that they do not accept credit cards. I was not happy to be told this after the fact. I think it's pretty unusual for a plumbing service not to take credit (just about every other plumber listed on Angie's list does and I did not pay attention to this fact when I chose them to do the job) and so I didn't think it was wrong to assume that they would also.
We will continue to use Midwest Plumbing, just not for larger jobs (greater than $300 or $400).

We got more than what we paid for.

I have used the services of Midwest Plumbing earlier as well and they are very good in their job. They are very professional and deliver high quality standard work. Their prices are competitive. They are willing to give you estimates, irrespective of your choice to use their services. I like their services and will continue to use the same in future.

I've used Midwest Plumbing for various projects in the past and they routinely do good work on time.

They came in under their estimate and the guy that came was a very nice man. He noticed some problems with the plumbing itself where the piping had not been properly secured. He was excellent and cleaned up well after himself. Even though it was winter and snowy he was very careful to be considerate of my carpet and furniture while working in my home.

THE SANITARY CROCK THAT THEY INSTALLED STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS WITHIN A FEW MONTHS. IT WOULD FAIL TO DISCHARGE SEVERAL TIMES AND I HAD TO CLEAN UP THE SMELLY OVERFLOW. INITIALLY THEY WERE RESPONSIVE AND THEY CAME OUT TO FIX THE PROBLEM, BUT THEY DIDN'T WANT TO OWN UP TO THE FACT THAT IT WAS NOT OUR FAULT FOR THE OVERFLOWS, BUT THEIR POOR DESIGN/WORK THAT CAUSED THE PROBLEM. THEY REFUSED TO ADDRESS THE REAL CAUSE LEAVING US WITH A MAINTENANCE ISSUE THAT WE WERE VERY UNHAPPY WITH. AFTER SEVERAL HEATED CONVERSATIONS AND THREATENING LEGAL ACTION THEY FINALLY SAW IT OUR WAY AND FIXED THE PROBLEM. WE HAVEN'T HAD A RECURRENCE OF THE PROBLEM SINCE. WHEW!

ROGER DID ALL THE WORK AT MY HOME. IN THE COURSE OF OUR KITCHEN REMODEL, WE NEVER HAD TO WAIT FOR HIM. HE WAS VERY PUNCTUAL AND RESPONSIVE. WOULD HIRE AGAIN.
