I was/am very grateful to Kordus for their quick response, thoroughness and professionalism in handling my problem. The service person was very kind in helping with the cleanup by rinsing down the floor where the backup occurred. He was also very respectful of other property in the basement while bringing in and removing his equipment.
I would absolutely use Kordus-Schuster again and recommend them to anyone needing a plumber.

They came the same day that I called. They were the cleanest plumbers that I have ever had.  I was very pleased, and will use them again.

The plumber checked out all the possible reasons for the problems until he found the cause. He then put in the parts needed to correct the problems. His truck was stocked with all the various parts that were needed.

Their initial response to the call was prompt, and the work in removing and re-setting the toilet was completed well enough. However, the new sink and pedastel vanity are a somewhat unusual design, and Kurt Schuster wasn't able to properly install the drain mechanism. New part had to be ordered. In the meantime, his replacement of the flushing mechanism proved faulty--the water in the toilet tank continued to run. We phoned the office and said this was a call-back request, since the work was done incorrectly. Several days later, Kurt Schuster came and fixed it, saying he wasn't surprised at this, since the toilet is a "low-profile" design. Finally, when he installed the new drain piece (weeks later), he used a brushed nickel finish, rather than chrome--which all the other bathroom fixtures are. We had to recall him on this, as well. All the work is now done, but...they charged us $57 for EACH return trip, even though arguably two of them were bonafide recalls to correct work they had done improperly.

Said they could install next day. Were here to install. Realized they needed additional blower fan. Got the parts and completed the job. Did great job. Cleaned up everything. Did lose first check, I had to write them a second check and cancel payment for $30 on the first lost check.

We use them a lot. Tammy, the one who answers the phone is always good at getting us a responce quickly. Ron the owner, follows up to make sure we are happy with the work performed. He is even good about suggesting ways for us to save some money. All the service men that have come out have been friendly, and professional. The price is always a shock, but what plumber isn't?

I was very pleased with them. I was, however, a little shocked at the price. They charge $89/hour and a $54 trip charge. Parts are of course extra. In the past I have used another plumber with REALLY low rates so K-Ws rates surprised me.

Excellent! They directed me to a plumbing showroom where I picked out my new fixtures. Then the showroom contacted Kordus-Wegner directly, so that Kordus-Wegner ordered the products for me and called me when they were ready to install them. The price I paid included the amount for the fixtures, not just the labor.
