I had J & R Fence enclose my back yard with a six foot western red cedar privacy fence about six years ago. I was very pleased with every facet of the job from estimate to completion. Working with Jerry and his crew was very easy and enjoyable. This job was for my side yard with the same type of fence. All work was custom made and fitted, board by board-no panels. The gates were also custom built on-site. Jerry's crew was a pleasure to work with, personable and professional. They did an excellent job for me-again. I recommend J&R Fence and if I need more work done, they will get my call.

Excellent job. The fence looks beautiful. We have received many compliments on the fence. Jerry was very responsive to our needs. He was the only one that went the extra mile to get what I wanted which were the ornaments. He also was the only one that responded to every question and actually called back.

They were able to start the work much sooner than expected.  They came one afternoon and put in the poles.
Came the next day and finished up in the drizzle.
Work was done very well.  I was very pleased with the look.
I will definitely recommend. them.

I contacted three providers on 1/17/15 and got an immediate response from Jerry @ J & R Fence, and didn't hear from the other two providers until almost a week later.  Jerry from J & R Fence called me back immediately and even gave me a ballpark $ for this service.  He also said he would follow-up with me on April 1st to come out and see my yard, and he called on March 31st.  Within a few days he stopped out to measure, and about a week later, my fence was done.  They did an amazing job, and I couldn't be happier with the quality and beautiful look of this fence.  I also really liked that he didn't ask me a lot of questions about style of fence, additional features, etc. as other providers had done.  The installation took approximately two days total working around rain, etc., and I was kept informed during the process.  Also, there were no hidden costs and I paid exactly what I was quoted after measuring.

Two weeks later Jerry called me and said he had an opening earlier than expected. I said it was ok to start early.  His men were there the next day to set the post and completed installing  50ft of  6ft high Cedar board on board fence.  The crew did a great job and cleaned up the job site extremely well.  I never even met Jerry, but he delivered and I would definitely recommend him.

They were really good. The quality of their work was great. They didn't use pre-built panels. It was a solid Western Red Cedar fence, and they put everything up by hand. They used 2x6's for the stringers. It's also very straight. They were very prompt and the owner even came out to measure for the estimate.

Jerry came out for an estimate shortly after I first contacted him about a fence for our yard. I asked about the distance between pickets because one of my dogs is very small and I did not want him to squeeze through the pickets. Jerry offered to decrease the standard distance between pickets without increasing the cost, even though there would be more materials, to keep my dog safe. The estimate he gave me was considerably lower than a bigger name company and I don't think they would have made the same changes without increasing the price.
The workers were efficient, polite, and cleaned everything up well. The finished product is beautiful and flows nicely with the landscape, contouring to the terrain. The materials are of high quality
I am actually writing this review a couple years after we had our fence built. i wanted to write this now since we have had our fence for over two years now and it is still so beautiful. It is something we use and look at every day and I am so happy with it, And after the wear and tear of a couple harsh winters, it is still as sturdy and strong as day one. This is a quality fence.

Very prompt and effective removal of old fence and installation of new. Only complaint was rails were slightly more rustic than anticipated but okay.

We had fencing taken down and in places damaged by a tree service. Jerry came out and gave us an estimate. It was a more than fair price compared to other estimates. He knew we were eager to get the fence back and got us into his schedule very quickly. I highly recommend Jerry and his crew. We will hire them again if needed.

They came out for the original estimate the same day I called and were very informative. They were able to start the project the next week and finished in 2 days with no problems. They were very prompt, responsive to my questions, and courteous each day. They were a pleasure to work with, and I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

They found some weathered posts that match the current ones and replaced 3 current support posts. The fence looks great, is no longer in danger of falling down and the gate is straight for the first time in a long time and operational. I am very pleased with the work.

I have a fence around my property that had no openings. Jand R installed a gate and did a wonderful job. They came almost immediately, finished the job and the price was very reasonable. Would definitely recommend them. They had also installed my fence 18 years ago and it still looks brand new.
