It was repaired.

This happened on a Sunday....of course. Due to a medical condition at home it was imperative that the AC be working. It was in the 90's with high humidity. I called and received a quick response from their serviceman. He explained the charges on that day would be for overtime labor, a trip charge and of course parts. The overtime rate was $150.00 per hour. I was OK with all this but when the bill arrived I was charged at 150.00 per hour from the time the tech left his business. Normally a trip charge is a flat fee. Daiker is at least 45 minutes from my house one way. Had I known that I would be charged overtime for a trip charge I never would have used Daiker being they are so far away. Daiker originally installed my Heating and AC and did a fine job but in this case I believe the charges to be excessive for what took only 10 minutes to repair. The total labor charge + travel time amounted to $262.50. Travel time at 150.00 per hour is unacceptable. I will not be using Daiker for anything again.

Prompt courteous and fixed problem. This company was also used by a relative years before and they had same experience.

There was very little talk and he did the the work.

Ray was on time and helped me get ready.
He and 2 other guys worked from 8:30am to 5:00pm and cleaned up and finished up.
He showed me how to work everything and set the new thermostat for me.
They were kind, courteous, and didn't let the cats out !

I depend on them. They have done very good job so far. They call the tenants themselves and arrange to go do the job. I don’t have to do anything. They follow up very well. They also give me different suggestions over the phone before they come.

Jay (Owner) was very helpful and professional. His crew did a great job keeping the new ductwork as out of the way in the basement, as possible. Overall my wife and I were both pleased with their job.

Great work. They just fix what's broken. No messing around. Everything they have done is still good (knock on wood). When they fix something it tends to stay fixed. When it comes time to get a new boiler, they get the job. Period.

One time in January, we had just gotten back from vacation and it was after midnight; our heating wasn't working! We called them and they were able to get someone out and then got the work done quickly! I have been completely satisfied with them and will continue to use them for future service.

Mr. McCaffery stated that most people that have this problem never do anything about it after an estimate is given and that it is a waste of time and money to them. I told them that an estimate was never given! If they are going to charge to come to your house they should explain it ahead of time (which they didn't) and they have to provide something of value...like an estimate, which is what they came home to do. They stated that if I did not pay the $75.00, this would be reported to my credit file! Even though I know that this was wrong and unethical, I did send them a check for the $75.00 plus the late fee to avoid a potential blemmish on my perfect credit file. I did not agree to the so called discount of the late fee. This was not about money, it was about principle. Why would a business do this?

One of their workers came out. They said that it appeared that there had just been a little bit of moisture condensation that had frozen up inside the furnace. They checked every thing out and declared that all was fine! I was very appreciative that they were honest and did not do any unnecessary work. While they were in the house, I had them check over the furnace thoroughly and install a new filter.
